This product was sent to me for review purposes.

So this took me so long to do this write up (although I had already done a review on this brand on my Instagram) but I felt like I couldn’t skip out on this because I have genuinely been really enjoying Full Brow products and have fully worked them into my every day make up routine!

For those that don’t know them, Full Brow is an indie Australian brand that focuses almost solely on your brows – i.e. my everything. They are Melbourne based and work to create quality brow products that are also simple to suit people of varying styles and experience levels too! Their products are cruelty-free and paraben free, and many of them are also vegan-friendly too.

They reached out to be about trying out some of their products and I chose three from their range that I felt would sit in well with my personal brow style and routine – the Brow Powder, Brow Crayon and their Brow Fibre.

So, lets kick into this review!

Brow Powder (Taupe) | AUD$23

Described as super creamy and long wearing, this brow powder also claims to be volumizing and smudge proof (which I can definitely agree with)! It allows for quick and easy application, with a formula that also contains Vitamin E to condition brows.

At the moment, this product had four shades (Blonde, Taupe, Natural Brown and Dark) as “[t]he limited shade selection was carefully curated to be versatile and to take away the guesswork, there is a perfect match for every hair and skin colour!” I am currently using the Taupe shade, which is perfect for me as I like to have my brows a little bit lighter than my hair – and my hair is usually dyed a different colour every fortnight. The shades that they have are pretty good and I can see how it can be versatile enough to suit most hair colours, though I personally feel like they should have included an auburn shade if they wanted to cover all natural hair colours.

To apply this product, I used a synthetic blend brush and I found it very easy to apply and fill in sparse areas. It also built up surprisingly well, so I managed to get an appropriate darkness at the tail of my brow, though I had some difficulty filling in my most sparse areas. I feel that brow powders are generally best for when you already have a good brow density and shape, but want to fill them in slight. They give a more natural brow look as they tend to have more featured edges than your usual Instagram brow (which, to be honest, I’m not into).

OVERALL RATING? 9/10

THOUGHTS? This is the second brow powder that I never ever used in my life and, to be honest, I love it substantially more than the one I previously tried. I love the longwearing and buildable matte formula, I love how easy it is to use (especially on my lazy minimum make up days) and the Taupe shade is absolutely perfect for me.

The price point (AUD$23) is decent too, being somewhere between drug store and high end pricing – which I am happy to pay to support an indie brand.

Brow Crayon (Light) | AUD$25

This is described as an on-the-go version of their brow powders. It has a powdery finish that gives a natural brow look, buildable pigmentation and also a very unique micro bristle brush on the other end (not a typical spoolie) which actually helps to blend out the product.

Unlike the brow powders though, this crayon only comes in two shades (Light and Dark, from which I am using Light). This is fairly common from it comes to drugstore brands but, for a brand that specialises in brow products, I feel like they should have a better range of shades – at the very least matching their brow powders. That being said though, the Light shade does match quite well with me and the blendability of it, aside from giving a natural brow look, also gives some flexibility with the colour choice.

I originally wanted to try out this product because of the bristle brush, which is super unique and I have never seen something like it before. It helps to give a nice soft brow look but, as expected, won’t give you the sort of definition that you would usually get from a brow crayon. The formula wore well through the day and had a nice texture that wasn’t too waxy. However, I feel like it didn’t build up as nicely as the powders, especially for my brow tails.

OVERALL RATING? 6.7/10

THOUGHTS? I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t like using brow crayons anymore (I used to almost exclusively but have been off them since I started using pomades), but this product just didn’t work for me. I feel like I want more definition from a brow crayon and, although the texture of this was nice, both the brush and the soft finish meant that this gave a more feathered natural brow look. It is also not as buildable as I want it to be.

At the moment, I’m keeping it in my bag to use as touch ups but I am unlikely to recommend this one.

Brow Fibre (Light) | AUD$25

And lastly, it is possibly my favourite product from them – this is their Brow Fibre! This is especially as a “simple one-step solution to all your brow needs” as it can work to add colour, volume and hold your brow hairs in place.

This fibre gel comes in two shades (Light and Dark) but, unlike the brow crayon, I actually don’t think this is too bad. I feel like they should still have an auburn option but, aside from that, the nature of this type of product means that one shade can suit many hair colours. In addition, I feel like this product has more micro fibre than coloured gel, so works better to volumize than colour (hence why the shade isn’t too much of a make-or-break).

The product has a very small micro brush, which makes it very easy to reach finer areas (such as the brow tail and even the front of brows where hair can be more sparse). This is a product that I can easily use alone but, since I like to fill in my brows substantially, I would generally use it as a finishing touch. I love that it gives brows a very natural fluffiness, does not give brow hairs that crunchy feeling, and also holds in place well. The micro fibres don’t flake or fluff over your eyes.

A microfibre brow gel to colour, volumize and hold brow hairs for a natural, every day look

OVERALL RATING? 9/10

THOUGHTS? I end up reaching for this product over a lot of my high end brow gels (some of which are very substantially more expensive than this one). Although it doesn’t give much in terms of colouring brows, I love how it volumizes my usually sparse, thin brows and also helps to blend in my natural brows to my drawn in brows (haha). This works really well for my personal preferences and I would be recommending this to people as long as you aren’t using it to drastically colour your brows – as that doesn’t seem to be its forte.

Swatches of the Brow Crayon (Light), Brow Powder (Taupe) and Fibre Gel (Light)

I also put up some of my swatches above if you would like to see the colour of the products but, personally, I feel like their official swatches have been very accurate. I had a great experience with Full Brow products and I’m particularly in love with their Brow Fibre too – which I have a feeling I am slowly finishing up. I also loved their Brow Powder and feel like it is my perfect powder now (and thus don’t need to keep searching for more – though I might).

Brow Crayon wise, I wasn’t exceptionally blown away by this though it has a great concept and is good for touch ups (especially because of the brush). Maybe someone who is more accustomed to using this type of product will like it?

Anyway – I hope that this review was helpful! Leave me a comment down below or even on Instagram if you’ve tried or (or will be trying out) anything from the brand! I would love to know what others think too.
