The Korean beauty industry has been booming for years, so it’s not surprise that it’s also super saturated with numerous brands and products. When people first delve into k-beauty, I find that most are only aware of larger brands (mostly owned by parent companies like Amore Pacific). However, this is one of those fields where indie brands aren’t exactly falling behind – in fact, a lot of the time they are actually doing better!

So then comes to question – where should you start? Today I’ll be sharing five of my all-time favourite k-beauty skincare products. These are all products that I’ve used over and over again, so I would definitely recommend checking them out.

Let’s get into it!

5 Favourite K-beauty Products - Blithe Patting Splash Mask

Blithe Patting Splash Mask

A revolutionary formula, the Blithe Patting Splash Mask is one favourite that I can’t get enough of. It’s available in three variants to target your skin concerns (Soothing and Healing Green Tea, Rejuvenating Purple Berry and Energy Yellow Citrus and Honey). This is described as a liquid mask pack and is used in the shower – it’s quick and effective, taking just 15 seconds to use.

5 Favourite K-beauty Products - COSRX Calming Liquid Mild

COSRX Calming Liquid Mild

This is everything I’ve ever wanted in a toner and it’s easily a top favourite. I’ve repurchased this multiple times too and actually just bought a new bottle recently. Whilst the Calming Liquid Mild isn’t going to stop break outs from returning, it does a great job of healing and calming them down. It has a water-like texture that’s fast absorbing and also provides a nice boost of hydration.

5 Favourite K-beauty Products - Dr Jart Dermask Shake and Shot Rubber Mask

Dr.Jart Dermask Shaking Rubber Elastic Shot

If you love sheet masking but want something a little more intense, these are some of my favourite masks. They’re a little messy to apply but, in my opinion, it’s worth it. This mask is freshly mixed just before application and forms a ‘rubber’ layer to maximise efficacy. It’s available in four variations: Hydro, Soothing, Brightening and Firming.

5 Favourite K-beauty Products - Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

Laneige Sleeping Mask

If you’re a fan of k-beauty, then you’ve definitely heard of Laneige before. The Water Sleeping Mask is one o their top sellers and has been a vanity staple of mine for years! It’s described as an “intensive overnight hydrating mask powered by pro-biotics complex that helps strengthen skin’s moisture barrier for a lively, well-rested appearance the next morning” (Sephora)

5 Favourite K-beauty Products - Neogen Peeling Gauze Pad

Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze

And finally, this is one that was super hyped up on YouTube many years ago. Although it isn’t as widely talked about anymore, it’s still one of my favourite products. This peeling pad is double sided; with a gauze side to physically exfoliate, and then a softer embossed side to soothe and treat. It’s available in three variations to target your skin concerns: Wine, Lemon and Green Tea.

Have you tried any of these before? Or maybe you have other k-beauty skincare favourites that you want to recommend? Let me know in the comments below or hit me up in DM, because I’m always looking for something new to try out.
