It’s no secret that I’m a huge Pat McGrath Labs fan and, with their new 25% off Sublime Summer Sale now live, I couldn’t resist sharing some of my personal favourites from the brand. From stunning eyeshadow palettes to flawless, runway ready skin, read on for some of my top recommendations and thoughts!
Mothership VIII: Divine Rose II (Rose Chrome Edition)
This palette made a serious splash when it first launched and I’ve found myself reaching for it all the time. It was recently re-released in a limited edition Rose Chrome packaging – which is gorgeous by the way. I’m pretty sad that I can’t justify purchasing this again just for the case, so would recommend for others to pick this up as soon as possible! With the sale price and the pink case, this is just too good to miss out.
With 10 super blendable shades, the Mothership VIII has some stunning pink, rose and burgundy tones, as well as shimmering champagnes and a show stopping multichrome! It’s versatile enough for deep, editorial looks and also softer daily wear too.
With a range of 36 shades, this foundation has a buildable coverage from sheer to medium. It’s glowy, natural and totally skin-like with a thin, water-like texture that blends like a dream. I’ve been a big fan of this foundation ever since I first picked up a sample, and definitely do not regret my purchase.
To be honest, the Mattetrance lipsticks have been slowly on sale for quite a while and I’m not sure if they are being discontinued or if it’s just certain shades that are being taken away. Either way, this is easily one of my favourite lipstick formulas ever and I would always be recommending them. They have a powdery matte finish, but applies creamy and isn’t drying on lips at all. The pigmentation is also super bold but you can also soften the application by dabbing instead of swiping on the product.
When it comes to lip balms, I was honestly very hesitant about the Sheer Colour Balms at first – they’re just very bougie for something that is usually so simple. However, the formula of these are mind blowing. Rather than thinking of them as ‘just a balm’, I would consider these more of a dewy-finish lipstick. The pigmentation is so much stronger than an average tinted lip balm, and the formula is very comfortable and hydrating on lips too.
In addition to these curated trio sets, they are also available individually.
I saved the best for last because this is honestly one of my favourite products from Pat McGrath ever. The Sublime Skin Highlighting Trio contains three super smooth, fine highlighting shades – from an iridescent pink, to a bright gold and a warm bronze. The formula is a cream and powder hybrid and can be either worn alone, or even layered up for a bold, editorial highlighted look.
I’m amazed every time that I apply this onto my skin and honestly cannot find a dupe for this. If you were to only pick up one product from Pat McGrath, this is the one that I would recommend.
