If you’re Australian and a fan of Japanese Beauty, then you would be all too familiar with how difficult it is to get these products without going through personal shoppers, foreign websites and making to make the trip to Japan yourself! Thankfully though, a lot of these wishes were answered with W Cosmetics. I’ve worked with them a few times already and, whilst they have Korean products too, I’m always especially impressed with their J-beauty product range.

They recently sent over a selection of new releases from Canmake which I’ve posted about on Instagram, but I couldn’t help but make this post as well – just in case there’s someone out there who also have no idea where to buy these! Read on to see what I got, as well as links to buy them straight from W Cosmetics. They have stores in Australia and also free shipping for orders over AUD$99.

Shades from left to right: N61 Ruby Red, N62 Deep Amethyst, and N60 Antique Amber

Colorful Nails (Canmake Tokyo) | AUD$8.80

Adorable and petite, the Canmake Colorful Nails are long-lasting and fast drying polishes available in a wide range of shades. These three in particular have a sheer, jelly-like pigmentation which can be used as is, or double coated for an opaque finish. Make sure to finish it off with a clear top coat too for a pretty, jewel-like shine.

W Cosmetics Canmake New Releases Feature - Quick Lash Curler
Shades from left to right: ER03 Brown and ER02 Black
W Cosmetics Canmake New Releases Feature - Quick Lash Curler

Quick Lash Curler (Canmake Tokyo) | AUD$16

This is a reformulation for their super popular Quick Lash Curler formula, now in an easy remove formula (hence the ‘ER’). It claims to boost lash curl and hold for hours, being resistant to sebum and waterproof too. This is recommended for people with stubborn lashes that are down pointed or refuse to hold a curl. I like using black mascaras personally, but the brown shade is great for a soft, natural look.

Silky Souffle Eyes – Matte Type (Canmake Tokyo) | AUD$18

Formulated as a ‘matte type’ eyeshadow, these are actually described as having a dewy (or moisturising) formula. It features a sheer matte texture that can be easily built up for a gradient effect. The quad also contains a fine glitter shade to give a shimmering finish when layered with other shadows. These are great for light, every day make up. Check out below for swatches too!

Silky Souffle Eyes in Urban Khaki (Canmake Tokyo) | AUD$18

Similar to the matte finish quads, this original formula also has a hydrating formula with a translucent, sheer finish. The shadows has a soft, souffle-like texture that adheres well and blends seamlessly. Compared to the matte versions. all of these shades have a pearlescent finish for extra shine.

W Cosmetics Canmake New Releases Feature - Glow Fleur Cheeks
Shades from left to right: 16 Lilac Fleur and 15 Copper Fleur

Glow Fleur Cheeks (Canmake Tokyo) | AUD$20

You can’t do J-beauty without blushes and these Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks are some of my favourites – in fact, I already had a little collection before these! These are powder blushes with a translucent, natural finish and a subtle flow. The pigmentation is recently buildable and also contains sebum-absorbing powder (silica) to enhance longevity.

If you’re curious to try any Canmake products, or more Japanese cosmetics in general, then definitely head on over to W Cosmetics. I’m hoping that I’ll be more free to shop in the CBD soon so I can do a little shopping haul in their store as well!
