I’m back in Sydney! It’s my first night back here and I’m still exhausted from the flight and time difference – there’s also so much unpacking to do – but I wanted to get a head start on some of these reviews that I was meaning to write even before I left. First off is this Real Fresh Foam Cleanser that I received in my PR package from Neogen back in March. I had actually been testing it out since then so I thought that I’d already done this write up… but I hadn’t. Oops.
This one is a foam cleanser that had first caught my eye a long time ago, but I had been holding back on using it because there are real fruits/food inside of it – it’s mostly a personal thing that visible pulp or seeds freak me out a little. It comes in four types – Green Tea, Cranberry, Blueberry and Cereal.
I have to say that this is the first time that I’ve seen cereal (fermented grains) used like this in a cleanser, so that’s very interesting. For the sake of this review however, I was sent the Blueberry type and I was using it daily up until I left for LA. It’s definitely a good one and I’ll be continuing to use it until I finish up.
Korean skincare is most well known for their high quality ingredients, especially when it comes to more traditional products such as fermented rice, ginseng and herbs. They are generally found in brands that are a little bit pricier and so I have only tried out a few of them. One of my favourite ingredients would have to be rice, since I’m a big fan of anything with brightening properties, but one that I have definitely stayed away from is Ginseng. Ginseng can be a very interesting ingredient and is one that my mother enjoys, but I’ve always disliked the scent of it and so I can’t bring myself to use it on my face.
How interesting is it then that I’m now testing out this new Sooryehan cleanser (this is the Bon Cleansing Foam) which contains ginseng extract and my favourite thing about it is the scent?! I received this to review from BB Cosmetic and it is currently selling on their website for USD$18 (discounted from USD$23.99). Their online store also has free international shipping with no minimum purchase, and you can also get an additional 8% off with my code (which I don’t make money from, but will bring down that cart total): QAL3F6ZA8YZ
It is rather expensive for a cleanser, to be honest, so let’s get right into my experiences with this product!
It’s been a while! With the new year just past us, and with me taking a small break from everything just to rest (and shop), I’ll be kicking off this year’s reviews with a product that I was sent from BB Cosmetic. I received this last year but started using it at the end of December when my previous foam cleanser had run out.
This is the first product that I’ve tried from the brand Beyond – they are a cruelty free brand from Korea and I first heard about them from my friend back in 2017 (when we went to Seoul). It’s a very light, bubbling foam cleanser which is suitable as a second cleanser. I also tested it out by itself (without an oil cleanser beforehand) and it actually does a pretty good job of cleaning off my make up so if you’re not a fan of two step cleansing, then you may be interested in this too!

This is going to be a fairly short and simple review, so let’s get right into it!
After the failure that was the Rire lip powders, I’ve been waiting to give them another shot but none of their products had really caught my eye. However, I recently received two things from their brand to review so I figured that now would be a better time than ever to relook into the brand. This is their All Kill Black Peeling Pad and it reminds me a lot of the Neogen Peeling Pads. The main difference, aside from the ingredients, is that these come in individual packages.
These were sent to me by BB Cosmetic but, of course, I’ll always be giving my full honest opinion on these. They are selling on the website for USD$15.60, which is a bit pricey considering that you only get 10 in a pack, and the Neogen have 30 pads for under USD$20. I also wish that they were sold individually for people to test out.
Anyway, please remember to check out BB Cosmetic. They have free international shipping with no minimum purchase, and you can also get an additional 8% off with my code (which I don’t make money from, but will bring down that cart total): QAL3F6ZA8YZ
This product was sent to me by Wishtrend for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.
It’s my first post coming back from my trip to Vietnam and Seoul and, to be honest, I’m writing this at around 3am and I’m still getting over my fatigue and jetlag (which has been knocking out to sleep as soon as I get home from work). However, since Wishtrend just officially launched this product today (congratulations!) I knew that I wanted to have this post done on time, especially since I really love this product.
So I posted about this on Instagram before I went on my trip because I was contemplated whether or not to bring a new product abroad (because I was worried about allergies) but I did bring it and boy, I’m so glad that I did because this product is super travel friendly, very hydrating (which is important when you’re dealing with weather variations and long flights) and is pretty effective too.
This is a Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash that is from By Wishtrend, a brand started by the online kbeauty store – Wishtrend. My general experience with their products has been really good! I find that their formulas are effective, well priced and gentle on skin too. In fact, their Mandelic Acid Water is still one of my go-to, favourite skincare products at the moment!
This product has an amazing green tea latte scent (which is the best I have ever encountered) and gently exfoliates your skin which cleansing. It has a hydrating finish and leaves your skin really soft and clean, as well as controlling blackheads.
This is a 70g bottle and retails at the full price of USD$22. However, as a special launch promotion, you can now buy it at a 20% off (USD$17.60) or save up at 30% on the special sets. This promotion ends soon, so if you’re interested, get on it!
I’m really excited to be testing and sharing with you guys a new brand today! This one is called Bueno and I actually hadn’t even heard about them until BB Cosmeticapproached me about reviewing a few products from them. Looking online, I’m having trouble finding much information about them but hopefully, as their products are further introduced into the foreign market, then more details will be available in English.
For this brand spotlight post, I’ll be discussing and giving you my thoughts on three products from their line – all of which are available for sale on BB Cosmetic. The brand does have some other skincare products that are available but, for now, they’re still not for sale on this website.
Remember to check out BB Cosmetic to get your hands on these . They have free international shipping with no minimum purchase, and you can also get an additional 8% off with my code (which I don’t make money from, but will bring down that cart total): QAL3F6ZA8YZ
And, without further pointless chatter from me, let’s get right into it!
I had been waiting for so long to try this thing so out, please, excuse my excitement! This is the first product that I’ve tried from SU:M37 and it’s been raved about by so many other bloggers. I cleanse my face rather religiously because I do wear make up at least five days a week, so I want to make sure that my skin is well cleaned at the end of the day (because no one likes clogged pores or break outs). Generally, my skin is on the dry side and is easily stripped by cleansers, so I look for something that cleans well but still leaves my skin soft and fresh – not irritated.
I would usually do a two step cleanse (with my Etude House sherbet cleanser to begin with) but I have been testing this one by itself as well, just to see how it works. Overall, I’m pretty impressed and I can see why people love this so much.
This was sent to me for review by StyleKorean, who have been so generous with their endless support for me! Remember to check them out if you’re wanting to buy this or anything else – they’ve got an amazing range.
This was a strange product to me and, honestly, I didn’t expect that it’d be strange because… it’s a foam cleanser. I really didn’t expect anything all that different but let me tell you that this one definitely baffled me for a while. This product is from Petitfee and is called the D-Off Phyto Foam Cleanser (which, to me, sort of sounds like it’s swearing but it means dust off), a cleanser made of natural mint leaf and seven herbal ingredients – the foaming aspect is also meant to be fermented nutrient rice foam. It’s purpose is to penetrate pores, cleanse and moisturise.
To be honest, the overall description of this product was quite confusing to me. Perhaps it’s because I don’t approach natural products in such a in depth manner usually, but I still went into testing this product with an open mind! When I basically took from the description is that the foam cleanser uses natural ingredients in order to both cleanse and hydrate your skin – sounds pretty good to me.
I was sent this to review by RoseRoseShop, where you can get a bottle for $4.16 USD (full price is $11.71). It’s a good price for a good sized bottle so, provided that it works, I think it’ll be great for those more conscious about the ingredients in the products they’re using. Read on for my full review!
Just to clarify, I had really high hopes for this product so even though I say that I’m kind of disappointed, it isn’t because it’s a terrible product. It works, just not how I wanted it to.
I had never used anything from Tosowoong before but had heard really great things about the brand so, when I came across this on My Korean Makeup, I decided that I had to try it. The product is a pore cleanser with a gel product and an attached brush, making usage fast and simple. I had actually searched it up online as well and hadn’t found any other reviews for it, so I was hoping that I would discover a new, wonderful product for you guys to use but… unfortunately, not.
Read on for my experience and thoughts about this Tosowoong product. I received this product to review from My Korean Makeup and you can check out their website to purchase this (or anything else).
Everyone has been obsessed with double cleansing and, admittedly, I’m pretty late on the bandwagon but I’m here now! Today, I’ll be reviewing a product that was very kindly sent me to be Beautynetkorea, who were the ones who actually suggested this to me. This is the O-Le-Mong sherbet cleanser by Etude House, which is scented with three different fruits – orange, lemon and grapefruit! The packaging is pretty cute, in my opinion, though the bright yellow a little different from Etude House’ usual.
The first time that this product was sent to me, the product had unfortunately leaked and ruined the beauty of the packaging, s oBeautynetkorea were sweet enough to send me another one (and even extra bubble wrapped it to make sure it wouldn’t happen again).
