Romand Better Than Palette Kbeauty Makeup Review - Pampas Garden and Mahogany Garden

I’m actually consciously trying to spread out my Romand reviews but, to be honest, I’ve just completely fallen in love with this brand. Every time they release something new, it’s on my radar right away and I can’t relax until I’d gotten my hands on them. That’s exactly what happened with this one! I saw the Better Than Palette being teased on Instagram a week or do before the launch, so I’d been waiting for it – and now it’s here!

All of these are now available at StyleKorean for USD$23.10 (on sale from USD$33) so absolutely jump onto there if you want to pick these up! If the full 10 shade palette is a bit much for you, Romand also do wonderful quads (currently USD$14.40 and on sale from USD$18) called the Better Than Eyes.

I’ll be reviewing and sharing some swatches from the Pampas Garden and Mahogany Garden palette today so if they’re the ones you’re keen on… let’s get into it!

Review: Beach Muse Multi Eye Colour Palette (3CE)

StyleKorean 3CE Beach Muse Eye Palette Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

Eyeshadow palettes are a personal weakness of mine and, when it comes to kbeauty make up, I really can’t pass up on 3CE! Created by the fashion brand Stylenanda, 3CE is especially well known for their colour cosmetics – their style is quite experimental so they often have very glittery or bright formulas which are harder to find in other brands. I’ve been a fan of their eyeshadows ever since I discovered their One Colour Eyeshadows, where they have pretty much the best matte orange that I have ever found in Korea, so I have a lot of confidence in their formulas.

The main criticism that I’ve had in the past has been the price point – however, this is much improved! The Beach Muse Multi Eye Colour Palette (which I will be reviewing today) is selling at StyleKorean for USD$31.90 (discounted from USD$45.60). It’s still more expensive than other Korean roadshop brands but, with a great formula, solid colour scheme and a strong brand image, I think that the premium price point makes sense.

If you want to get your hands on this palette, or anything else from 3CE really, pop on over to StyleKorean! But before all of that, lets get into this review.

Review: nomakenolife (Japanese & Korean Beauty Box)

NMNL No Make No Life Beauty Subscription Box January Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you might have noticed that I don’t review subscriptions boxes very often – it’s really just because I have a lot of products so find it hard to review. However, one box that has had my attention for literally years is the nomakenolife (or NMNL) box – they launched back in 2016 with a focus on super cute Korean and Japanese beauty products.

I was in particular interested in Japanese products- I adore J-Beauty but find it really hard to purchase overseas, and even harder to actually find out what I’m buying as there’s very little English information online. Because of this, I find it very helpful to have them selected and sourced for me to try out. The team from NMNL is actually Tokyo based too, so they’ve got their thumb on the latest trends and best selling products.

They also have special perks for subscribers – you gain points for every consecutive month that you’re signed up and can exchange them for exclusive items, get discounts or even shop on JapanHaul – and there’s some really cute stuff.

If you want to take a peek, head on over to the nomakenolife website. But before you do, let’s jump into this box!

Review: Mini Gold Palette (Natasha Denona)

Natasha Denona Mini Gold Palette Review

I am a lover of high-end eyeshadow palettes – that’s just it really. I do have a number of k-beauty favourites and I’d try out drugstore brands as well, but I usually choose to invest more into my eyeshadows. That being said though, brands like Natasha Denona are notoriously expensive – and for good reason, as their formulas are absolutely beautiful! I recently got my first full-sized palette from her but, prior to that, I really liked to play with her mini palettes.

The one here is her Mini Gold Palette, which is a compact five-shade extension of her full size Gold Palette (which sells for a good AUD$205). Comparatively, this mini is a steal at AUD$42, and an even better price point if you wait for a Sephora sale.

It’s great for people who loved the full size and want something similar for travel, or those (like me) who aren’t sure that they want to invest the money yet. There have been reports that the minis are a bit hit-or-miss formula wise but, personally, I haven’t had that issue yet!

Review: Rom&ntic Moonight Collection (Rom&nd x NEONMOON)

Romand x Neonmoon Kbeauty Makeup Review StyleKorean

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

If you follow me on Instagram, then this is not a surprise to you – I am obsessed with the Rom&ntic Moonight collection! This is a collaboration between Rom&nd (who I have reviewed before) and a Korean brand called NEONMOON – they are primarily a retro inspired fashion brand and I love them! They are actually a big inspiration for my online store too (so you can see how I love them). Their brand is about a fun, nostalgic aesthetic and bright colours – perfectly reflected in these products.

I don’t have everything from this collection (because it would be insane if I did) but I’ve got almost everything – and I need to share my thoughts with you! I am so happy with this collection: from the packaging to the formulas.. it’s brilliant. Today I’ll be showing you the Zero Cushion, Better Than Eyes Quad, Better Than Cheek Blushes and the Glasting Water Tint. The only product that I’m missing is the Glasting Water Gloss – but it’s available if you want to get it!

This whole collection is available at StyleKorean with prices ranging from USD$11.20 – USD$20.80. This collection is limited edition so check out their website to get your hands on this quick (you won’t regret it).

Before you do that though, let’s get right into this review!

Review: Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol 1 (Anastasia Beverly Hills)

Anastasia Beverly Hills ABH Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol 1 Review

It’s a fact that I am obsessed with purple so the release of the first Norvina Pro Palettes caught my eye more than all of the others. The main issue that I had with it was the size – I’ve had storage issues for a while so have been avoiding larger palettes but I really liked the colour story here. I was so on the fence about it but then my best friends made the choice for me: I got the Norvina Pro Pigment Palette for my 28th birthday!

I know – I am spoiled and so, so lucky.

The Pro Pigment Palette was the first release from the (sort of) sub-range Norvina. Although it still sits under the Anastasia Beverly Hills brand, the direction of their line is more vibrant, youthful and experimental, drawing its influence from Norvina herself (who is the current president of ABH and also the daughter of its founder). Since the release of this first palette, there have been quite a few other releases in this range and honestly – it is the bomb and I am loving the direction!

The Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol 1 is available on the official Anastasia Beverly Hills website for AUD$99 or at Sephora Australia or Mecca for $112 (not sure of why there is a price difference). They also have some smaller nine-pan palettes if you’re after something a little more compact!

And, lets get into this review!

First Impressions: K-Beauty Haul (Stylevana)

Stylevana KBeauty Review Jigott Real Ampoule Mask, Frudia Blueberry Hydration Mask, Labiotte Wine Lip Tint, Logically Skin Aquatide Resurface Serum, Chica Y Chico One Shot Eye Palette

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that there is an affiliate code advertised.

New products and deliveries are always so exciting for me – so yes, I was super keen when this package from Stylevana arrived. I was starting to feel overwhelmed for a while but since pulling back on my spending and on some PR in the past few months, it’s given me more of a chance to enjoy what I do (and work at my own pace).

This haul is a new collaboration for me! Stylevana is an online store that specialises in Asian beauty – they carry products from Korea, Japan and even Taiwan. The latter two are less talked about because they’re harder to access online, so I’m glad that there’s a new source for them! Aside from the big range of products, Stylevana also offers free shipping for orders over USD$55.

From now until the end of November, you can also get 10-15% off your order with my code INF10STELLAR (excluding weekend deals and instant offers since they are already on sale).

So, read on if you’re keen to see what I received! I’ll be putting my initial thoughts into this post rather that full on reviews (especially for the Logically, Skin Serum) since I think that I’ll need to use that much more extensively to give proper insight. Here goes!

Review: Prism Air Palette (CLIO)

CLIO Prism Air Eyeshadow Palette Kbeauty Review StyleKorean

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

I am totally weak for eyeshadow palettes and pretty packaging, so what am I supposed to do when the two of those come together? Obsess and get my hands on it, of course!

This is the Prism Air Palette from CLIO, and it has been all over the kbeauty community since its release. Their brand concept is to bring make up artist quality products to a street shop price point, so it’s all about high pigmentation, longevity and cool-girl packaging. Also, Peripera is their sister brand and they arguably do the best Korean lip tints ever – so that’s ’nuff said.

This palette is currently available at StyleKorean for USD$27.30 (on sale from USD$45.60) and also comes in two colour variants – Coral Sparkle and Pink Addict. I’ll be reviewing the Pink variant but definitely check out their website if you’d like to see any other offerings from CLIO.

So, let’s jump into this review!

Review: Jeju Cherry Blossom Collection (Innisfree)

Innisfree Cherry Blossom Collection Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes.

Cute collections always make me smile and, of course, Innisfree has succeeded again with their 2020 Jeju Color Picker Collection – this year inspired by cherry blossoms! It is perfectly timed with the season in Korea and was available from March to the end of April, but availability has been extended due to recent events. Instead, they will sell the remaining stock once they reopen stores too!

All of these products take inspiration from the blossoms, so you can expect gorgeous packaging and a lot of pink! This collection includes a Nail Set, Matte Mineral Setting Powder, Luminizer, Lip Tinted Sticks (available in 3 shades) and – of course – the Cherry Blossom Eyeshadow Palette. I was lucky enough to get my hands on most of this collection and I am in love! It’s actually rare that I like every single thing in a collection, but I couldn’t find a way to dislike anything. I’ll say it now that this is definitely highly recommended from me.

That being said, Innifree stores in Australia are currently closed due to COVID19 so they are only selling from their official stockist (AdoreBeauty), as well as other unofficial stores. I noticed that AdoreBeauty only carry their skincare so if you’d like to get anything from this collection, you may need to wait until stores reopen here in Australia. It’s worth the wait though!

And now, let’s get into this review!

Review: Eye Ecstasy Eye Shadow Palette – Subversive (Pat McGrath Labs)

Pat McGrath Labs Eye Ecstasy Eye Shadow Palette Subversive Review

I try really hard not to recommend products that are overly expensive because, even if I love the product, it is all just makeup in the end and I hold firmly to the belief that there are plenty of more important things in the world. Still, it’s a bit hard when I’m such a big fan of Pat McGrath (and her brand) because her products are notoriously expensive, but they are definitely a high quality luxury item.

For people who want to try out her eyeshadow formula and may not be ready to invest in a full-size, these Eye Ecstasy Palettes may be perfect for you! Priced at either AUD$51 from the Pat McGrath website or AUD$47 at Sephora Australia, these are five pan mini palettes that let you indulge in this luxury formula at a much more affordable price point.

In comparison to the full size palettes, these are obviously smaller and the packaging isn’t as fancy, but I like that they give more variety than a quad. The shades are perfectly curated too. For people who love neutrals, check out the Sublime Palette, but if you want a pop of metallic colour, then go for the Subversive Palette (which is what I’m reviewing today).

You can buy these mini palettes on the Pat McGrath Labs website, or Australians can go to Sephora Australia. Before that though, let’s get into this review!
