I have been on a hunt lately for a dense, pigmented lip balm. As I mentioned in my haul video (and as I seem to mention all the time lately), my skin has been extremely dry from the weather and my lips are no different. Chapped lips don’t look very nice and are hard to apply lip colour on but, worst of all, they seriously hurt! Cracking lips and dry skin are the bane of my existence in this strange Australian weather.
When I first saw the Sugar Tint Balm on RoseRoseShop, I knew that I had to try them. The real difficulty though, was choosing which ones. This product comes in a range of eight colours, four of which are available on the website (at the time of writing) so I ended up going with two – a darker, berry pink (#07 Grape Jam) and a light peach shade (#05 Pink Macaroon).
I’m back with another review, everyone! This is going to be a review on a set of three serums that I was sent by Roseroseshop – also the owner behind this indie brand. Today, we’re going to be looking at Neulii, their self established skincare line. RRS is an online store that specialised in Korean Skincare and Make-up so it’s not a big leap for them to move into developing their own line. From my conversation with their Marketing Manager, I am also very confident that they know what they’re doing.
I had no hesitation in trying their products, and I’m glad that I did.
Neulii’s name stems from the Korean characters of Neul + i, meaning ‘Always’ in Korean – 늘이(렇게) for those who are interested. Their goal is to merge both quality and affordability, resulting in what can be considered a ‘no frills’ version of Korean skincare.
For this review, I have been sent three of their current range – AHA Vita Brightening Serum, Teatree BHA Blemish Control Serum and Snail Bee Anti-Wrinkle Serum.
I recently had this situation where I couldn’t sleep all night because I had accidentally dried out (and then ruined) the gray circle lenses that I bought in Korea. Although I don’t wear lenses every day – as I work in front of a computer and am often very tired – I like to wear them when I go out for for special occasions. I think they can give a nice finishing touch to make up and, unlike thick false lashes, I’m pretty comfortable in them. I actually only started wearing lenses recently too! I picked up my first pair (a very pretty blue) while I was staying in Korea and it took me an entire hour to get them in. Now, I can pop these in in a heart beat.

So many people have been talking about 3CE’s new White Milk line and I was so happy that BB Cosmetic gave me the opportunity to try and review these products. Before receiving them, I had actually not looked into their products aside from the (super cute) packaging. I don’t regularly use any of 3CE’s products but I do love their lip colours – intense pigmentation and trendy packaging. Personally, I’m a little hesitant about using their base products or skin care, only because 3CE is a trend brand and (from what I know) operates as a sub-brand of fashion label Stylenanda. I’m generally very hesitant about brands that do not specialise in skin care but choose to dabble.
For the sake of this review though (and the fact that this really is super cute), I decided why not! Let’s give it a go and find out whether my concerns are true or not.

Below is the cover of the cushion. I love the simple illustration; from a design perspective, it has a lot of personality and really helps to tie in their entire collection. The packaging is plastic and looks a little basic, but is actually quite sturdy. I would be a little worried to carry it around all the time but only because I think the white will dirty easily. The casing doesn’t seem fragile at all.
The cover over the cushion is quite firm, so it keeps the product moisture in well. You’ll have to really push it open. The mirror is a little small for my liking, only because I’m used to the IOPE and Clio cushion packing. It’s pretty obvious that the packaging of this product is targeted towards the young and trend conscious. It is minimalist and elegant, but definitely plays into what is ‘in’ right now.
I like it though. It’s exactly my style!
You guys have probably seen this cushion featured a number of times on my instagram and finally, I’m going to be doing a review! This is from my previous RoseRoseShop haul and is actually a product that I received incorrectly – they have since replaced and sent me the correct Ampoule Cushion to me. However, this doesn’t mean that I can’t test it out, of course.
The package come in a relatively large box and contained a refill and a primer (the pink bottle) in addition to the cushion and a sponge (one sponge, no extra). I was quite impressed with the packaging because it was very sturdy and it looked really classy, and I don’t expect much less from Clio, to be honest. It was the first time that I saw the refill in the form of a bottle though so, when it’s time for a refill, I’ll definitely let people know how I go with that.

I found BB Cosmetic through another blogger’s instagram posts and, after checking their website, was immediately drawn to the wide variety of brands that they carry. Of course, once again, they don’t have everything in every brand, but I find that they seem to carry a lot of trendier brands or even smaller brands that are not as easily accessible internationally (more expensive brands like VDL come to mind, as well as Laniege). When I emailed them, I spoke to Chloe who was very polite and helpful with great English skills too! After talking to her, I expressed my interest in products from 3CE, Too Cool For School and VDL – brands which I saw often in Korea but not so much now that I am back in Sydney.
I’m so excited because, after talking to them, Chloe said that they would be sending out these products for me to test!
So aside from these really exciting things that they’ve sent me, let’s talk about their website and services (the product reviews can come later).
I’m doing another review! I’m probably a bit more excited than I should have been. This is the IOPE air cushion pact that I bought from RoseRoseShop. I’ve been wanting to try this since seeing a friend of mine crazily bulk buy this for her and her sister back when we were living in Seoul. I hadn’t gotten around to it though, mostly because I’m very happy with my MISSHA bb cream and because this is (relatively) pricier than another brands. Since having a rather lacklustre experience with another bb cream cushion, I decided to finally test this one out.
From my friend’s advice, I bought the natural cover version, which is meant to give a medium, buildable coverage that is suitable for achieving a dewy look. The IOPE cushion is rated one of the best and is supposed to be really great for dry skin (as it applies quite moist). The cover version, which may be preferred by those who are more prone to acne or have scarring, is said to have a more matte finish which is what I didn’t like about my previous THEFACESHOP cushion.
Oh my goodness, guys. Look at this – I’m at it again. I keep telling myself that I should really space out my haul posts (because I even have three videos filmed to go on YouTube) but I really didn’t want to hold back on this. You see, the longer I don’t post about it, the longer I have to stop myself from using this stuff… and that’s really hard.
Today’s haul is a little smaller than the previous but still substantial. This is part of my Kbeauty Haul and is from iBuyBeauti, usually called IBBI. The store was recommended to me by Sophia who had ordered from them quite a few times before. The best thing, of course, is that they have free shipping for purchases over $50 and, honestly… it’s really easy to buy more than fifty bucks, haha!
Their prices are a little bit higher than RRS to accommodate for the free shipping, but they’re the best option if you’re looking to buy only a few things (around $50 – $100 in total) or if you’re buying even less than $50 and want to team up with your friends to do a bulk order.
Now, let’s have a look at what I bought! I’ll put down the names but won’t do a review of (most) things because I’ll save that for individual posts later on.
This post (and video) took so much longer to post that I intended. Originally, I had recorded the sound separately and was thinking of doing more work on the post-production side of it but… it was taking so long that I decided to scrap that idea for now. Instead, I was just really excited to show and share with everyone what I bought from RoseRoseShop and to talk about my experiences.

So I recieved an email today from ktown4u about a new product that they had brought in. Of course, of all things, I didn’t expect it to be OkCat skincare! It seems to be a milk based face cream with promises of hydration and a brightening effect – and packaging that is very reminiscent of 3CE’s of a similar name.
This one is a collaboration between 2PM’s Ok Taecyeon (the brilliant artist behind this kitty) and company called Costro. The brand is under Costagram which is targeted to a younger audience, specifically kpop fans. Have a look below and tell me what you think.
