Review: Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask (Belif)

BONIIK Kbeauty Review Belif Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask

This product was sent to me for review purposes. I was not paid and affiliate links are not used in this post.

There are some brands out there that you hear about a lot but, somehow, never end up trying any of their products – whether it is because of the price or sometimes just because you never really have a chance to. For me, Belif falls into both of these categories. Although they are an independent brand, their price points can be a little bit expensive – not exorbitantly but just a little. In addition, I do have some of my favourite products, so I was never sure if I should be splurging a bit to test this out.

With my recent collaboration with BONIIK, I decided to pick up a tub of this Belif Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask to try out. I did go a little bit over budget (from the store credit they gave me) so I guess this product is partly gifted (hmm). Belif’s most famous product is the True Cream Aqua Bomb, which is their original cult favourite, but I chose to try out something different from the same range instead – the Sleeping Mask. I did try out a lot of other products from BONIIK too and chose this exact product (as well as the Hanyul Watery Calming Gel) because I loved the texture of it and how it felt on my skin.

And I have to say that I have no regrets. I had a really great time testing out this product so I can say immediately that this is going to be a positive review. This is a really great quality product that delivers on their claims so I would definitely recommend checking this out – although they are more expensive than an average mid-tier road shop brand (like Laneige), it is definitely worth it if you are wanting to splurge a bit!

This product is currently selling for AUD$69 and, if you’d like to get your hands on this product, then check out the BONIIK website. If you are a Sydney-sider like myself, you can also drop into their stores at Westfield Sydney or World Square (Sydney CBD). Review: Lip Rouge & Powerdation (VT Cosmetics – Part III)

VT Cosmetics BTS Kbeauty Review BB Cosmetics

This product was sent to me for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that there is an affiliate code advertised. The small profits go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

We are at my final post for the VT Cosmetics reviews! I hope that you have been enjoying these so far and that they have been informative for you in choosing what to buy or to skip out on. In general, I have found the brand to be a bit of a hit-or-miss so I would definitely be looking into reviews for anything I buy from them.

For the last post here, I want to be sharing two more cosmetic products from them and – once again, and quite predictably – there was one that I liked and another that I will not be using again. First off is the Super Tempting Lip Rouge, which I have in two shades with two different finishes, and then there is the Gloria Powerdation which is a matte finish liquid foundation.

All of these products, as well as even more from the VT Cosmetics line and other brands are available at BB Cosmetic, and that you can also use my code for a little 5% discount – QAL3F6ZA8YZ – it isn’t much but personally, I never say no to saving money.

So, let’s get right into this review!

Review: Dailism Eye Palette – Rose Memory (Heimish)

Dailism Eye Palette (Rose Memory) StyleKorean Review

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

It’s no secret that I’m an absolute eyeshadow addict but most of my collection is actually Western. There are very few kbeauty eyeshadows that I personally love, mostly because I find their formulations too sheer and light for my style. However, there is one brand that I fell in love with early on in my make up journey – Heimish! You can actually check out my review for their original Dailism Eye Palette way back in 2016 when they were still a very new brand to StyleKorean (right here).

It’s been going on three years now and the Heimish brand has expanded a lot, but I think that I will always be going back to their eyeshadow palettes. I loved the original one so much and I ended up using it as a travel palette over and over again, but I was getting sort of bored of the colours. My own style and preferences have changed a lot since then, so I felt like it was time to revisit the brand again just to find another palette that really speaks to me.

Looking through the Heimish offerings over at StyleKorean, I realised that they have also since repackaged all of their Dailism Eye Palettes! The general case is the same but they now have different colours (to reflect the theme) and their box packaging is also much more beautiful. There are three different colour variants available (Coral Essay, Brick Brown and Rose Memory) and I ended up choosing to review Rose Memory, which has a more romantic and sultry pink theme. It is also a little bit cooler in undertone compared to the other two.

This palette is selling for USD$32 on StyleKorean, which is a minor mark up considering it was originally USD$29.90 back in 2016. With the upgraded packaging and the fact that Heimish is now a much more established brand though, I think that this is a fair price. Check them out on StyleKorean if you’re keen to buy but first – let’s get into this review!

Sit yourself down and take a (comfy) seat because this is going to be a long post! I was originally planning on write this as two seperate posts but, after trying out both of these products from VT Cosmetics found that my thoughts on the two products are so different – because I love one of them so much that it’s my new HG, and then dislike the other one so much that I don’t think I will be finishing it up at all.

If you read my Part I post, you will note that I found products from this brand to be very hit-or-miss, so today I want to share with you a product that I would recommend you rush to buy and another one that really doesn’t live up to expectations.

I received the Super Tempting Face Fixer and the Born Natural Gel Mist from BB Cosmetic to review for you – and obviously, everything that I write is 100% honest. If you’d like to get these products or want to check out more from the VT Cosmetics line, then check out their website! They offer free shipping worldwide with no minimum purchase and you can also use my affiliate code for 5% off: QAL3F6ZA8YZ

So – onto the review!

Review: Pure Artemisia Watery Calming Gel (Hanyul)

BONIIK Kbeauty Review Hanyul Pure Artemisa Watery Calming Gel

This product was gifted to me for review purposes. I was not paid for this post and affiliate links are not used in this post.

If you haven’t heard of Hanyul before, then I need you to drop everything because I recently tried out my first product from the brand and I am actually in love. Yes – in love. I’ve been raving about this for quite a while on Instagram and I’m not sure if people understand how much I enjoy this product, so I knew that I had to write this review to talk about.

I received the Pure Artemisia Watery Calming Gel from BONIIK to try out but, actually, it was one that I chose myself after a skin consultation and testing out a bunch of different products. I told them about my combination skin that liked to get oily during the afternoon, and also about how rushed I am for time in the morning. They recommended for me to try out a more lightweight gel-type moisturiser and, after testing out a lot of products, this is the one that I was really keen to take home!

This product is currently selling for AUD$49 and, if you’d like to get your hands on this product, then check out the BONIIK website. If you are a Sydney-sider like myself, you can also drop into their stores at Westfield Sydney or World Square (Sydney CBD). Review: Super Tempting Highlight & Shade Palette (VT Cosmetics – Part I)

VT Cosmetics BTS Kbeauty Review BB Cosmetics

This product was sent to me for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that there is an affiliate code advertised. The small profits go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

Following this post, there’s actually going to be a handful of VT Cosmetics products. They are a brand that I had heard a lot about in the past even before they started collaborating with BTS. For me, although I am a kpop fan, I am not a BTS fan, so my review of these are completely unbiased and I’ll only be discussing the actual products.

That all being said, I have had mixed experiences with VT Cosmetics – some products which I thought were pretty good, while others I didn’t like so much. These two, the Super Tempting Highlight Palette and the Super Tempting Shade Palette, fall a bit little in between (which I will go into below).

I received these, and all of the other VT Cosmetic products too, from BB Cosmetic who were super generous and sent me over so many things from the range to try out! Jump on over to their website if you want to get these ‘super tempting’ palettes – or anything else from the brand. They offer free shipping worldwide with no minimum purchase and you can also use my affiliate code for 5% off: QAL3F6ZA8YZ

But, before you do that, lets get into this review!

Review: R U 16 Taste-Chu (16 Brand)

16 Brand R U 16 Taste Chu Lipstick StyleKorean Review

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

I love bullet lipsticks but, in this case, the packaging definitely won me over. I know! I’m always a sucker for things but like but, considering that this is a 16 Brand product, I was also pretty confident that the formula would be decent! I wasn’t wrong too, because after trying these out, I totally get why some people have been raving about them and I already want more shades.

This is the R U 16 Taste-Chu Lipstick from 16 Brand. They are essentially a blur-look matte finish lipstick that is candy themed. All of the shades are named after some sort of sweet and the lipstick shades (and scents) are good enough to eat. In fact, my mum thought that someone else me chocolate when these first arrived… hehe!

These products were sent to me for review by StyleKorean, who actually carry a really great range of 16 Brand stuff! The lipsticks come in four different shades (which I will discuss below) and I have two here to swatch and review – Brown Fudge and Cherry Almond.

If you’d like to pick these up, they’re currently on sale for USD$14.40 (down from USD$18) on the StyleKorean website but do grab them quickly! They were almost sold out when I looked last and they just restocked, so I think these go quick.

And now, let’s get into this!

Review: Cellus Skincare Range (Lagom)

Lagom Kbeauty BB Cosmetics Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that there is an affiliate code advertised. The small profits go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

When BB Cosmetic approached me to collaborate again, I asked them about any new brands that they might be bringing in and wanting me to try out. They were quick to recommend Lagom, which is actually a very new name to me – in fact, I hadn’t even heard about them before this. They are a relatively new addition to the BB Cosmetic offerings and, from what I can see, are an indie kbeauty brand that focuses a lot on whitening/brightening skincare products – which are totally down my alley.

The brand was launched by Kowon, a very experienced celebrity make up artist from Korea. Although her expertise is in cosmetics, her work in the industry made her realise that the most important thing is to have healthy, hydrated and radiant skin. She worked together with a team of scientists to formulate this brand. All of Lagom products are formulated with their hero ingredient, DermaFlux, which is clinically proven to delivery hydration deep into the skin cells (rather than just the outmost skin barrier).

For me to test out of some their range, BB Cosmetic was generous enough to send through a selection of products (which I felt would work best in my routine) for me to try out and I have to say that I’ve been loving these products! They’re effective but simple to use, and I have essentially replaced a chunk of my routine with Lagom. My skin is absolutely loving it, so let me talk to you about all of these products!

In this review, I’ll be talking about the Cellus Mist Toner, Cellus Mild Moisture Cream and the Cellus White Moisture Cream. I’ve been using all three of these products daily so I’ll go in depth into the product, my experiences and my personal recommendations for when I work this into your routine.

If you want to get this, check out BB Cosmetic. They offer free shipping worldwide with no minimum purchase and you can also use my affiliate code for 5% off: QAL3F6ZA8YZ

Review: Ion Calcium Foundation Double Cushion (MiBA)

MiBa Ion Calcium Foundation Double Cushion BB Cosmetics Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that there is an affiliate code advertised. The small profits go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

I honestly think that oversized foundation cushions is going to be a trend this year and, to be honest, I don’t hate it! Generally, they’re the same as your regular cushion but, because of the larger size, give you a faster application, a bigger mirror and – obviously – more product. They are more difficult to carry around though, so they’re larger than any of my compacts, so I keep it in my handbag rather than my make up bag.

Recently, I collaborated with BB Cosmetics again and, when I was looking through their website, came across the MiBA Ion Calcium Foundation Double Cushion. I had actually seen this product on Instagram previously (shout out to my babe @mabub.sonyeo) and it caught my eye mostly because of the pretty packaging. I’m a total sucker for illustrations and I loved this more traditional manga style! I had never heard of the brand before but I really wanted to try this out – and I don’t regret it. In fact, this cushion actually impressed me a lot more than I thought it would!

If you want to get this, check out BB Cosmetic. This cushion is selling for USD$28.98) – and they also offer free shipping worldwide with no minimum purchase. You can also use my affiliate code for 5% off: QAL3F6ZA8YZ

But, before you skitter off for that, let’s get into this review!

Diary: BONIIK – Your K-beauty Destination

BONIIK Sydney Kbeauty Shopping

This product was sent to me for review purposes. I was not paid for this post and I do not make any profits from the discount code advertised. Affiliate links are not used.

I first collaborated with BONIIK last year when they were a relatively new store in Australia, and wanted to introduce their brand to a bunch of us beauty bloggers. I’m really happy to say that I will be working with them again in the year of 2019 and, just before I left for Vietnam, I was invited to visit their new store at World Square (Sydney CBD) where I discussed with them my ambitions as a beauty content creator, my skin type and also got recommendations of new products to try out.

So, in this post, I’m going to be writing about the in-store experience for BONIIK. They have two stores in Sydney where you can visit yourself to talk with their store assistants for skin recommendations, or you can also shop them online at BONIIK.com

Best of all though, is that they’ve actually give me a discount code to share with everyone! Until the end of March, you can get 15% off all purchases at both their physical stores or online just by showing my code – OHMYSTELLAR15

So, lets get into this post! I can’t wait to show you all of the photos I took of their store because it’s actual eye candy to see all of these walls of glorious kbeauty.
