It’s been a while since I tried something new from 3CE but they’re one of my favourite kbeauty cosmetic brands (I’ve tried skincare from them too but, personally, I would stick to their makeup). They have been releasing a lot of colour based collections lately – most likely because their Mood Recipe line was so popular – and I’ve been loving the development of their packaging too.

When I was searching up some of their new products on StyleKorean, I saw that there was a new collection – the Easy Touch-Up Base Make-Up Edition, which is centred around easy-to-use formulas that work together to create a flawless base in the simplest ways. All of the packaging uses nude and blush shades and the range consists of foundation, concealer and two cheek palettes (contour and highlight).

Once again, this 3CE review will be split into two but, first off, I’ll be reviewing the Layer Covering Stick Foundation. As per the name, this is a stick foundation with a solid, balm type formula and a buffer brush on the other end. I personally really like this type of product, mostly because it’s so easy and quick to use, but there are many that don’t suit my skin type. In fact, even some raved about, top-selling stick foundations have not worked for me but instead, I found that kbeauty formulas work a lot better.

This is currently selling on StyleKorean for USD$17.60 (50% off from the full price of USD$35.20) so definitely jump on quick if you want to pick this up. Before that though, let’s get right into this review!

Review: Micro Settingfit Cushion (Moonshot)

StyleKorean Moonshot Micro Settingfit Cushion Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

I used to have a really big hoarding issue with cushions and, while my collection is still rather substantial, I feel like I haven’t been reviewing them as much lately (only one so far this year). However, when I saw this new release (the Micro Settingfit Cushion) from Moonshot come up as a pre-order on the StyleKorean website, I was really keen to try it. Their Microfit Cushion is one that I really adore and use often for touch ups, and I’ve been a fan of their brand since I first came across them. This is advertised with BlackPink’s Lisa as the ‘face’ of the product (and is called the Lisa Cushion, just like the Microfit cushion was GD) and was initially available for pre-order on StyleKorean.

The Micro Settingfit Cushion is now available for purchase on the website for USD$22.99, discounted from the full price of USD$33.60 and is available in two shades – 101 (Ivory) and 201 (Beige). I got the lighter shade, as I typically wear a shade 21 in most Korean cushions, but from my experience with the other Moonshot cushion, I think that the 201 would have been the most natural fit actually. However, I usually like to use a brighter tone anyway.

So, if you’re interested in buying this product, check out the StyleKorean website but otherwise, here’s my review!

Review: Double Wear Nude (Estee Lauder)

Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude Water Fresh Makeup Foundation Beauty Review

As I am almost finished my bottle of Fenty Beauty foundation, I figured that it would be a good time to open up something new. I really love that foundation and have every intention of repurchasing it but, since I like to test and write about new products, to urge to throw my money at something else was too great to pass up. So, instead of buying myself a second bottle of that foundation (which has a very thin consistency, but also medium buildable coverage and super matte), I figured that I would change things up by trying something dewier.

When I was in Canada, I took a (very) short visit to the Duty Free store at the border. I had around twenty or thirty minutes only, so I grabbed things fairly quickly – a few items that I had been eying at YSL and this foundation from Estee Lauder! I actually thought that I’d bought the original Double Wear Foundation at first, which is a cult favourite super high coverage matte foundation, but didn’t realise until much later that I’d bought the ‘nude’ version.

So, this is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude foundation. It is a much lighter coverage and natural version of the original double wear. I can’t remember how much I bought this for in Canada but the Australian Estee Lauder website sells this for AUD$58 – which would be an alright price, if the foundation came with a pump! Instead, I ended up going to buy that separately for AUD$10 at the Myer counter. I didn’t photograph that below though, as I took these images prior to using the product.

And so, let’s just straight into the review!
