For me, the past year has been all about casual, easy-to-wear make up looks – perhaps it’s because I spent most of the last two years wearing a mask, or maybe because I was in lockdown for months. The perk of more ‘natural’ make up looks is that they’re a lot lower maintenance and take less time to put together.

The All Take Mood Cheek Palette from Peripera is great for these natural make up looks. There are three variations in total, all containing three shades, but the one I’ll be reviewing the Nude in Mood. This one is quite light and sheer, so would be great for people with a fairer skin tone.

All of the variations are available on StyleKorean for USD$16 (on sale from USD$20), so pop over if you’d like to find out more! In the meantime, let’s jump into this review!

Review: Ink Mood Matte Tint (Peripera)

Peripera Ink Mood Matte Tint Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

The only thing I’m more obsessed with than eyeshadow palettes, are lip products. I had a pretty huge collection even before I really got into beauty blogging and it’s only gotten worse (in a good way). I recently got my hands on the entire collection of the Ink Mood Matte Tints from Peripera, and there are some beautiful shades here!

For those who don’t know, Peripera is the sister brand of CLIO and they are well known for their lip products. Although I’m not sure about the release dates, it seems that the Ink Mood Matte Tint have been released to be alongside the Ink Mood Matte Stick – so anyone who likes a matte, feathered finish can find it in either formula.

You can check out the Ink Mood Matte Tints at StyleKorean for just USD$7.90 (on sale from USD$12) and, of course, read on for the full review and lip swatches.

Review: Ink Velvet Mini Mini Lipstick (Peripera)

Peripera Ink Velvet Mini Mini Lipstick Set Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

I love trying out new lip products but, truth be told, I don’t think I have ever finished a lipstick in my life – they’ve gone bad, or been accidentally smushed and ruined, but never actually finished. I’ve always felt like I needed to buy a full size of every product but have since realised what a waste it is. I now much prefer to use mini sizes for lipsticks; they’re better to put in your bag anyway and I still get a lot of use out of them.

In addition, they’re also a brilliant gift idea because they’re easy to create sets with while still being relatively affordable, so you’ll be sure that there’s shades to suit them.

It’s really a perfect idea that Peripera released this set of mini Ink Velvet Lipsticks for the 2018 holiday season and – even though I’m a little bit late with this – it’s okay! This is the Mini Mini Ink Velvet Stick Set which contains a set of five mini lipsticks in varying shades from neutral corals to a brighter, warm red. I tested these out most days since I received them and have also experimented with carrying them around so I’m pretty prepared for this review!

If you want to get your hands on these, they are available on the StyleKorean website for USD$33.60 (full price is USD$42). Otherwise, let’s get on with the review!

Review: Sugar Glow Tint (Peripera)

Peripera Sugar Glow Tint Kbeauty StyleKorean Review

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

As happens basically all the time, I got suckered into a product by the packaging and promotional photos again. I’ve talked extensively about how much I love Peripera lip products, so I don’t think I’ll need to repeat myself here. These are the newer Sugar Glow Tint – a subtle glossy tint that I recently came across on Instagram. I hadn’t seen it available at many online stores yet, most likely because it’s fairly new, but I saw that StyleKorean had them in stock so they sent over some for me to review.

I received these before I went on holidays, so this was another product that I took with me travelling and so I’ve tried it out for a long time. I don’t find myself reaching for it every day because I usually prefer a bolder colour, but I do enjoy it when I wear it and like to keep it in my bag every day.

This product comes in five shades and is currently selling for USD$9.24 on the website, a fairly average price for their lip colours. StyleKorean also has all five of the shades available, so definitely check all of them out.

And, without any further rambling from me, let’s get into my review!

Review: Water Gel Tint (Peripera)

Peripera Tint Water Gel Kbeauty Lip Review

I bought this product with my own money. However, this post also contains affiliate links as an alternative shopping recommendation. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

Are you more of a lip tint or a lipstick sort of person? I had actually never used a lip tint until I got into Korean make up and I actually think that this is a product type that’s quite unique to Asian cosmetics. You see more products like this in Australia now but Western formulations are always more like a gloss and less like a stain – of course, this most likely comes down to differences in style.

Personally, I tend to use a wide range of products and formulas, all dependent on my mood and the overall look. I find that tints are best for days when I want a lightweight but vibrant lip colour, and not having to worry too much about retouching it. Also, since my make up style also varies, I do think that tints are best suited to Asian style or more natural looks.

Out of all of the lip tints that I’ve tried (and trust me, there are so many), the one brand that’s never let me down is Peripera! I started out with their original lip inks – there were only five colours back then – and now both their range and my collection has been greatly expanded. They had a wide range of different formulas, shades and really cute packaging.

One of the new ones that I haven’t tried before is the Water Gel Tint – and I’ve finally tried it out! I have been mostly avoiding it because I’m not very fond of water tint formulas – they tend to be too thin and a bit drying for me, but I wanted to give these a shot. I bought two of the shades – Redbeanpress and Beetpress – and they were both the perfect choice for me.

So, read on for my full review!
