Review: Battle of the K-Beauty Cushions (feat Amuse, Moonshot and Tir Tir)

Korean Cushion Spotlight from StyleKorean - Featuring Amuse, Moonshot and Tir Tir

A clean, healthy base is essential to a great make up look, and thats why I think that a lot of people love foundation cushions. They’re convenient, easy-to-use and there are so many absolutely incredible formulas out there. I’ve used a lot of different products in the past but was recently tasked with trialing, reviewing and comparing a big range of cushions from some of the most popular k-beauty brands of the moment: Amuse, Moonshot and Tir Tir.

The formulas here change from sheer and dewy, to fuller coverage mattes though, naturally, some will better suit my preferences and style. So, I’ll be discussing how these all worked for my specific skin type and concerns:

  • Skin type: Combination, dehydrated skin
  • Skin concerns: Texture and enlarged pores
  • Shade: Shade 21, MAC N4.5 or Fenty 150

The cushions that I will be reviewing include:

All of these are available at StyleKorean and also fully linked within this review.

Review: +C Vit Collection (Pixi Beauty)

Pixi +C Vit Collection - Under Eye Brightener, Priming Oil, Brightening Perfector and Lip Brightener

This product was sent to me for review purposes.

For those looking to boost their skincare routine, Vitamin C is often one of the main go-tos. I’ve been a big fan of the ingredient ever since I started my skincare journey; in fact, it was one of the first ‘serums’ that I ever used. The natural next step would be a question of how to incorporate Vitamin C into our daily makeup routine too – and Pixi Beauty has done exactly that.

The +C Vit Collection is a hybrid skincare-makeup collection, mostly consisting of brightening products that work as a skin prep to the rest of your make up. They have both immediate and long-term benefits and consists of four products: the Undereye Brightener, Brightening Perfector, Priming Oil and the Lip Brightener – all of which are currently available on the Pixi Beauty website.

Head over there to check them out but, in the meantime, I’ll share with you some information (and personal thoughts) on the whole collection!

Review: Cushion, Whenever (Dear Klairs)

Dear Klairs Cushion Whenever Kbeauty Makeup Review

This product was sent to me by Wishtrend for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

I haven’t been wearing foundation much in the past few months which explains why this review is so delayed. However, I really was interested in trying out this Dear Klairs cushion because it has a pretty interesting concept – and I feel like a lot of people would be interested in this.

The Cushion, Whenever is essentially a cushion compact foundation which comes with two different puffs, one for daily use and one with a higher coverage finish. The main selling point of this product is versatility – it is intended to be a product that you can use anytime and for every occasion. It is available at Wishtrend for USD$37 (or USD$20 for a refill), though is out of stock at the time of writing – it will likely be restocked in the new year though, and they are always running great sales, so definitely check out their website.

But before all of that, let’s get into this review!

Review: Rom&ntic Moonight Collection (Rom&nd x NEONMOON)

Romand x Neonmoon Kbeauty Makeup Review StyleKorean

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

If you follow me on Instagram, then this is not a surprise to you – I am obsessed with the Rom&ntic Moonight collection! This is a collaboration between Rom&nd (who I have reviewed before) and a Korean brand called NEONMOON – they are primarily a retro inspired fashion brand and I love them! They are actually a big inspiration for my online store too (so you can see how I love them). Their brand is about a fun, nostalgic aesthetic and bright colours – perfectly reflected in these products.

I don’t have everything from this collection (because it would be insane if I did) but I’ve got almost everything – and I need to share my thoughts with you! I am so happy with this collection: from the packaging to the formulas.. it’s brilliant. Today I’ll be showing you the Zero Cushion, Better Than Eyes Quad, Better Than Cheek Blushes and the Glasting Water Tint. The only product that I’m missing is the Glasting Water Gloss – but it’s available if you want to get it!

This whole collection is available at StyleKorean with prices ranging from USD$11.20 – USD$20.80. This collection is limited edition so check out their website to get your hands on this quick (you won’t regret it).

Before you do that though, let’s get right into this review!

Review: Blithe

Blithe StyleKorean Try me Review Me Kbeauty Skincare

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

It’s been a hot minute since I tried something new from Blithe, but I had such a great experience with their Energy Citrus and Honey Patting Splash Mask that when the opportunity came up – I had to take it. The products in this brand spotlight/review post were sent to me by StyleKorean as part of their Try Me Review Me program – this is a monthly open collaboration where they select a generous handful of beauty content creators to test out specifically curated beauty boxes.

If you’d like to join in next time, make sure to follow their Instagram because that’s where it all gets announced! For now though, let’s chat about what’s in this box.

This is the Blithe Try Me Review Me box and features four of their most popular (and unique) products: there is the Patting Splash Mask in Soothing & Healing Green Tea, Pressed Serum in Tundra Chaga, Inbetween Makeup Prep Essence and the Vital Treatment 8 Nourishing Beans. All of these are actually new to me (though I have used a different Splash mask before) so I think that I’ll need much more extensive testing to write a full review! However, I do want to share my initial thoughts and observations.

If you’d like to pick up any of these, or check out the Blithe line in general, head on over to the StyleKorean website – they’ve got an extensive range! Otherwise, let’s just right into this!
