Brand Spotlight: Amuse, the Vegan K-Beauty Brand

If you’re a fan of Red Velvet (the kpop group), then you have definitely heard of Amuse before – because their brand model is Seulgi! Based in Seoul, they’re a fairly new beauty brand that’s all about clean, vegan formulas (certified by Eye Vegan), sustainability, and well as unique colours that bring happiness and good vibes.

I was originally introduced to Amuse through StyleKorean‘s recommendation, as they’ve started to stock a huge range of their products. After that, I took my time painstakingly deciding what I wanted to try, because I was essentially keen on everything.. but I think I made some great choices!

Read on to see some of the different formulations by Amuse, including their Eye Vegan Sheer Palette, Blush Kit and Dew Velvet Lip Tint. I also have a review of their cushions coming soon, but I wanted to keep those separate. Check out StyleKorean to shop their entire rane but before you do, let’s get into this post.

Review: Ink Mood Matte Tint (Peripera)

Peripera Ink Mood Matte Tint Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

The only thing I’m more obsessed with than eyeshadow palettes, are lip products. I had a pretty huge collection even before I really got into beauty blogging and it’s only gotten worse (in a good way). I recently got my hands on the entire collection of the Ink Mood Matte Tints from Peripera, and there are some beautiful shades here!

For those who don’t know, Peripera is the sister brand of CLIO and they are well known for their lip products. Although I’m not sure about the release dates, it seems that the Ink Mood Matte Tint have been released to be alongside the Ink Mood Matte Stick – so anyone who likes a matte, feathered finish can find it in either formula.

You can check out the Ink Mood Matte Tints at StyleKorean for just USD$7.90 (on sale from USD$12) and, of course, read on for the full review and lip swatches.

Review: Our Own Summer Pink Collection (Romand)

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

It’s summer time in Korea and, naturally, Romand came to us with the goods! The Our Own Summer Pink Collection is fairly compact, consisting of a brand new Better Than Eyes quad in Dry Strawberry as well as two new Juicy Lasting Tints (in Very Berry Pink and Pink Popsicle).

This collection was designed for those with a Cool Summer personal colour (which you can read more about here). The shadows have a natural, soft colour scheme that’s perfect for every day and the tints have a translucent formula that makes it super wearable for different skin tones and depths.

All of these are available at StyleKorean for a limited time only, so pop on over there if you want to pick them up – honestly, Romand is always worth it for me.

And now, let’s get into this review!

New Release & Review: L’Oréal x Elie Saab Collaboration

Loreal Paris x Elie Saab Collaboration Review - Available at Chemist Warehouse

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

As soon as I saw these on Instagram, I knew that I had to have it! Elie Saab has taken their first foray into beauty through a collaboration with L’Oréal. Fans of the super famous haute-couture designer will absolutely love the intricate details and pretty colour schemes – best of all, it’s affordable too! Called the ‘Power of Grace‘, this collection includes three lipglosses, four lipsticks and a mascara, as well as a nine-pan eyeshadow palette which I haven’t seen in Australia yet (so can’t confirm if it was released here).

All of these feature the brand’s signature beige rose and gold colour scheme, as well as small details inspired by the intricate beading of his garments. It’s totally on-brand with Elie Saab’s signature feminine style and takes a versatile, wearable approach so all of these daily products transition well from day to night.

If you’re keen to get your hands on these, then head over to Chemist Warehouse – online or in-stores. This collection is limited edition though and it’s been incredibly popular, so I would recommend jumping onto it pretty quickly.

Before that though, let’s get into this review – swatches and all!

Review: Toun28

Toun28 Kbeauty Skincare Review Brand Spotlight - StyleKorean

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

For those who are passionate about sustainability (and vegan, cruelty-free skincare), then this kbeauty brand will be right up your alley! Toun28 is a relatively new brand, having launched back in 2016, and take a fully sustainable approach to their packaging. They even teamed up with StyleKorean for the Ugly Soap Project (a Green Week special) where they have made their ‘soap scraps’, or less than perfectly shaped ‘seconds’, available for just under a dollar – cutting down waste and saving you money.

Toun28 is now available at StyleKorean, and their prices are pretty good too. Today I’ll be reviewing their pH Balancing Toner, Lip Balm L2 (Unscented), Trouble Care for Sensitive Skin and Trouble Care for Dehydrated-Oily Skin. I had a bit of a mixed experience with these products, which I’ll discuss in depth, but I am still very impressed by Toun28 as a whole – and, of course, love their brand values.

Keen to try them out? Then let’s just right into this review!
