Review: Mary & May Wash Off Packs

Mary & May Wash Off Packs

I wasn’t always a fan of wash off masks because I was lazy to clean my face afterwards. However, I like to think that I’ve seen the light, and maybe just gained a little more appreciation for the minutes I get to spend alone in the bathroom, because I’m now obsessed. I generally use gel or clay formulas, but I’ve been testing out these Mary & May Wash Off Packs recently.

A clean k-beauty brand, Mary & May uses high quality, EWG Green ingredients in all of their products. They believe that “different solutions are needed for different skin types and conditions,” and so their products all target a variety of skin concerns (in fact, they also boast a range of eight serums). Most of these products can also be mixed and matched according to your skin condition.

The brand carries three different wash off packs, each suited for different skin concerns. All of these are currently available at StyleKorean for USD$17 (on sale from USD$29), or even in a duo set with a matching serum. The variants include:

I’ve tried a lot of different masks in the past and (I have to admit), sometimes I can’t tell the difference between variants! Especially in immediate results. However, these Wash Off Packs really caught me by surprise – they have a similar texture, but the results are vastly different. You can tell that Mary & May formulated these with different skin types in mind and at least one of these has become a fast favourite.

Review: Magic Kitten & Ice Cream Masks from I Dew Care

I Dew Care Mini Scoops Masks Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

As someone who’s been deeply consumed in the beauty community for quite a few years now, I’ve seen a lot of brands make a big splash on socials. One of these is I Dew Care, Memebox’s in-house skincare brand thats been super well-known for their playful, fun packaging concepts and unique formulas. I’d actually had my eye on them for a long time but could only look from a distance as they weren’t available in Australia yet… but it seems that StyleKorean has once again answered my call!

Shipping almost worldwide, a wide range of I Dew Care products are now available on StyleKorean. They are a cruelty-free brand and, whilst I’m not sure if it’s their entire range, these that I’m trying are also vegan, gluten free and comes in FSC packaging – so they’re doing all the good things.

I got my hands on the Disco Kitten and Space Kitten masks, as well as their Mini Scoops pack (containing three mini masks). Head over to the StyleKorean website to check out the range but otherwise, let’s chat about what these are!

Review: Artemisia Treatment Essence Mist & Calming Point Masks (Missha)

Time Revolution Artemisia Collection Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

The Missha Time Revolution range is easily one of their cult favourites – in fact, their original First Treatment Essence has been much raved about as an affordable alternative to the SKII Facial Treatment Essence (and honestly, I don’t know what higher compliment a brand could possibly receive). Since then, they have also released their Artemisia Treatment Essence. Both of these branch away from the FTE formula to prove that Missha’s skincare stands strong, not just as a ‘high end dupe’ but as an original product.

The two products that I’ll be reviewing today are part of the Artemesia line – the Artemisia Treatment Essence (Mist Type) and the Calming Point Masks.

If you’re keen to shop these, head on over to StyleKorean where you can shop the entire Artemisia collection, including:

Review: nomakenolife (Japanese & Korean Beauty Box)

NMNL No Make No Life Beauty Subscription Box January Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you might have noticed that I don’t review subscriptions boxes very often – it’s really just because I have a lot of products so find it hard to review. However, one box that has had my attention for literally years is the nomakenolife (or NMNL) box – they launched back in 2016 with a focus on super cute Korean and Japanese beauty products.

I was in particular interested in Japanese products- I adore J-Beauty but find it really hard to purchase overseas, and even harder to actually find out what I’m buying as there’s very little English information online. Because of this, I find it very helpful to have them selected and sourced for me to try out. The team from NMNL is actually Tokyo based too, so they’ve got their thumb on the latest trends and best selling products.

They also have special perks for subscribers – you gain points for every consecutive month that you’re signed up and can exchange them for exclusive items, get discounts or even shop on JapanHaul – and there’s some really cute stuff.

If you want to take a peek, head on over to the nomakenolife website. But before you do, let’s jump into this box!

Review: Cica Care Collection (VT Cosmetics)

VT Cosmetics Cica Skincare Line Kbeauty Review StyleKorean - Cica Skin, Cica Cream, Soothing Mask, Sleeping Mask

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

If you’re a fan of Centella Asiatica, then you’ll be very excited about the Cica Care Collection from VT Cosmetics! I was first introduced to the brand via their makeup but it didn’t exactly blow me away. I’ve been looking to give them a second chance though and I’m pleasantly surprised this time! This collection is all about Centella (also known as Cica) – it’s one of my favourite soothing skincare ingredients and I’m always working it into my routine.

The Cica Care Collection is actually quite extensive but I’ll be reviewing four products: the Cica Daily Soothing Mask, Cica Cream, Cica Skin and the VT Cica Sleeping Mask. All of these are available on the StyleKorean website but I would actually recommend checking out the main VT Cosmetics page instead – they are so many other products ranging from masks to sun care.

I’ve been using these products since December last year, so it’s been a decent amount of time now. Let’s get into this review!
