Review: Calming Cicatree Pad & Green Tea Moist PHA Gauze Peeling Pad (Neogen)

Neogen Calming Cicatree Pad Green Tea Moist PHA Gauze Peeling Kbeauty Review

If you’ve been a fan of Neogen for a while, then you have certainly come across their pad products before – particular their exfoliating peeling pads. I first came across them on YouTube and ended up falling in love with the original wine formula… but you know what got me excited about all over again? The reformulation!

This actually happened back in 2020 and, in addition to a much improved packaging design, all of their pads have been improved and are now certified Clean Beauty – meaning no animal testing, artificial fragrances, colouring, or alcohol! This change happened for the entire line but, for the sake of this review, I’ll be discussing the Calming Cicatree Pad and Green Tea Moist PHA Gauze Peeling Pad today.

These are both available at StyleKorean, so pop on over there if you want to pick them up! Before all of that though, lets get into this review!

Review: Real Cica Pad (Neogen)

Neogen Dermalogy Real Cica Pads Kbeauty Review

This product was provided to me by Neogen for my honest review. Affiliate links are not used in this post.

It took me so long to start using these Real Cica Pads (because I have so many others open that I didn’t want anything to go to waste) but they’re so good that I regret waiting so long. I don’t know why I’m surprised though because Neogen’s Wine Peeling Pads are a favourite of mine – which I tend to save for when I want a special treatment for my skin. However, after using these, I think I might have a new favourite!

These were sent to me by Neogen for review, so I didn’t actually know what they were until I went to check. They are essentially another skin peeling/exfoliating pad that also soothes and recovers irritated skin – meaning that it’s suitable for all skin types. They’re similar to the ones that I tried before, but more gentle and don’t seem to have the more abrasive, manual exfoliation side like the peeling pads. Instead, these are meant for daily use.

So, let’s kick right into this review because I’m really excited to be sharing this product and recommending this to others!

Review: Centella Green Level All in One Mild Pad (Purito)

Purito Kbeauty Skincare Review Centella Green Level All in One Mild Pad

This product was provided to me by Purito for my honest review. Affiliate links are not used in this post, except for in references to the COSRX pimple pads.

Using cleansing and exfoliating pads is actually a relatively new thing for me. I first tried out the Neogen Bio Peel Pads (which I loved and still do) and I have also used the COSRX pimple pads before – which are alright, but haven’t given me any remarkable results. That being said, I love the ease of use for this product type, meaning that it’s really suitable for travel purposes or people who want a fast skincare routine: such as in the morning.

The product that I’ve been testing for the past three weeks is Purito’s All in One Mild Pad, which is part of their Centella Green Level range. You can read more about it in my earlier review of their Buffet Serum but, basically, this range uses all EWG green level ingredients and is safe for sensitive skin types as well. As you can see from the name, they also use Centella Asiatica Extract which is great for soothing skin.

I started out using this every second day, but I’ve since started to use it daily (since I tested that it doesn’t irritate my skin at all), so – read on for my full review and experiences!

Review: All Kill Black Peeling Pad (Rire)

BB Cosmetic Rire All Kill Black Peeling Pad Kbeauty Review

After the failure that was the Rire lip powders, I’ve been waiting to give them another shot but none of their products had really caught my eye. However, I recently received two things from their brand to review so I figured that now would be a better time than ever to relook into the brand. This is their All Kill Black Peeling Pad and it reminds me a lot of the Neogen Peeling Pads. The main difference, aside from the ingredients, is that these come in individual packages.

These were sent to me by BB Cosmetic but, of course, I’ll always be giving my full honest opinion on these. They are selling on the website for USD$15.60, which is a bit pricey considering that you only get 10 in a pack, and the Neogen have 30 pads for under USD$20. I also wish that they were sold individually for people to test out.

Anyway, please remember to check out BB Cosmetic. They have free international shipping with no minimum purchase, and you can also get an additional 8% off with my code (which I don’t make money from, but will bring down that cart total): QAL3F6ZA8YZ

Review: Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine (Neogen)

Neogen Bio Peel Gauze Peeling Wine Review Kbeauty StyleKorean

I was so, so ridiculously excited to try out this peeling pad because it’s been so hyped and so many have given amazing reviews for it. It’s been everywhere on Youtube, Instagram, blogs… so I figured that it was about time for me to hop on board of this train too and see what the hype is about. I did have to choose between the yellow (lemon) and purple (wine) but I ended up going with this one, for the very superficial fact that it would have looked prettier in photos. I know, I’m not very scientific, am I?

Anyway, so this one is essentially an exfoliating pad and those who know me would know that i’m a big fan of exfoliation. I love how satisfying it feels and the baby smooth finish you end up. Generally, I would switch between chemical and mechanical exfoliators (such as peeling gels and sugar scrubs) but the amazing thing about this product is that it is both! It’s a quick and effective way of working exfoliation into your skin care routine without taking up a lot of time and making a mess in your bathroom.

This exact version that I selected in their wine variant, which its main ingredients in red wine and resveratrol (which is a anti-oxidant and a popular anti-aging product). This mains to leave you with smoother, firmer and brighter skin. Other people have also claimed it has improved their skin in the long run – maybe a few months of use – but I have only used this for a couple weeks so I’ll mainly be talking about the main, immediate effects.

Read on! This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.
