Brand Spotlight: Amuse, the Vegan K-Beauty Brand

If you’re a fan of Red Velvet (the kpop group), then you have definitely heard of Amuse before – because their brand model is Seulgi! Based in Seoul, they’re a fairly new beauty brand that’s all about clean, vegan formulas (certified by Eye Vegan), sustainability, and well as unique colours that bring happiness and good vibes.

I was originally introduced to Amuse through StyleKorean‘s recommendation, as they’ve started to stock a huge range of their products. After that, I took my time painstakingly deciding what I wanted to try, because I was essentially keen on everything.. but I think I made some great choices!

Read on to see some of the different formulations by Amuse, including their Eye Vegan Sheer Palette, Blush Kit and Dew Velvet Lip Tint. I also have a review of their cushions coming soon, but I wanted to keep those separate. Check out StyleKorean to shop their entire rane but before you do, let’s get into this post.

Review: Toun28

Toun28 Kbeauty Skincare Review Brand Spotlight - StyleKorean

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

For those who are passionate about sustainability (and vegan, cruelty-free skincare), then this kbeauty brand will be right up your alley! Toun28 is a relatively new brand, having launched back in 2016, and take a fully sustainable approach to their packaging. They even teamed up with StyleKorean for the Ugly Soap Project (a Green Week special) where they have made their ‘soap scraps’, or less than perfectly shaped ‘seconds’, available for just under a dollar – cutting down waste and saving you money.

Toun28 is now available at StyleKorean, and their prices are pretty good too. Today I’ll be reviewing their pH Balancing Toner, Lip Balm L2 (Unscented), Trouble Care for Sensitive Skin and Trouble Care for Dehydrated-Oily Skin. I had a bit of a mixed experience with these products, which I’ll discuss in depth, but I am still very impressed by Toun28 as a whole – and, of course, love their brand values.

Keen to try them out? Then let’s just right into this review!

Review: Flower Beauty

Flower Beauty Makeup Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes.

I don’t know anyone my age who doesn’t know Drew Barrymore; she’s an inspiring American actress who started out as a child star in ET and eventually became also super well known for her work in comedy – Charlie’s Angels, 50 First Dates, The Wedding Singer, Never Been Kissed, Music and Lyrics… goodness, the list just goes on! She is an icon and an inspiring figure who has been outspoken about her early battles with addiction, the impact of Hollywood, and is proof of how someone can fall down and come back stronger than ever.

In addition to watching her movies over and over again, I’ve also really wanted to try out her beauty brand Flower Beauty. Admittedly, I am often a bit skeptical about celebrity brands – too often they feel like unconsidered cash grabs, but this is exceptional. Flower Beauty is all about creating cosmetics that are easy and fun – because you are already beautiful. Their products are cruelty-free, so affordable and yes, Drew Barrymore has done so many videos genuinely talking about and using her own products.

In reviewing the brand, I’ll be sharing with you a number of different products including the Shimmer & Strobe Highlighting Palette, the Day Glow Highlight Glaze, the Lash Warrior Mascara, the Pyramids Cheek Color, and Petal Pout Lip Masks.

These are all currently available at Chemist Warehouse, their official Aussie stockist, and everything is under AUD$10! You can shop them at selected stores or online (use my ShopBack Referral Link for extra cashback too).

Before you do that though, let’s get into this!

Review: Neogen

Neogen StyleKorean Try me Review Me Kbeauty Skincare

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

When it comes to Korean skincare, I definitely think that Neogen is one of the top household names. The company has a number of brands under their umbrella but Neogen Dermalogy seems to be the main one that’s attributed to them. They consider themselves a “beauty innovator with the latest dermaceutical research and innovations,” carrying a number of different lines to cater for various skin concerns.

I would say that they are best known for their Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Pads, which is a product that went absolutely viral a few years ago. I’ve also used their Real Fresh Foam Cleanser quite a few times and often recommend it to people! Overall, my experience with the brand is largely positive, with only a few products that were a pass for me.

For this brand spotlight, I’m going to be highlighting a small selection from their range: the Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser, Real Fresh Cleansing Stick, Real Ferment Micro Essence, Real Ferment Micro Serum and the A-Clear Soothing Spot Patch. Most of these products aren’t absolutely new to me (I’ve usually used something from the range before or tested it out a few years ago) so I had high expectations for everything!

Everything in this review is available at StyleKorean so check them out if you’re looking to get anything from Neogen – they carry a pretty large variety of their products. I would especially recommend the Peeling Pads and the Foam Cleanser, as they are my personal favourites.

So, let’s get into this!

Review: Blithe

Blithe StyleKorean Try me Review Me Kbeauty Skincare

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

It’s been a hot minute since I tried something new from Blithe, but I had such a great experience with their Energy Citrus and Honey Patting Splash Mask that when the opportunity came up – I had to take it. The products in this brand spotlight/review post were sent to me by StyleKorean as part of their Try Me Review Me program – this is a monthly open collaboration where they select a generous handful of beauty content creators to test out specifically curated beauty boxes.

If you’d like to join in next time, make sure to follow their Instagram because that’s where it all gets announced! For now though, let’s chat about what’s in this box.

This is the Blithe Try Me Review Me box and features four of their most popular (and unique) products: there is the Patting Splash Mask in Soothing & Healing Green Tea, Pressed Serum in Tundra Chaga, Inbetween Makeup Prep Essence and the Vital Treatment 8 Nourishing Beans. All of these are actually new to me (though I have used a different Splash mask before) so I think that I’ll need much more extensive testing to write a full review! However, I do want to share my initial thoughts and observations.

If you’d like to pick up any of these, or check out the Blithe line in general, head on over to the StyleKorean website – they’ve got an extensive range! Otherwise, let’s just right into this!
