If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I loveFull Brow products and actually use their stuff on a daily basis. I recommend them all the time and have actually turned a few people onto the brand too – because who doesn’t love having great brows for a great price?
I saw an announcement on Instagram just two days ago that they will be launching some new Brow Kits – which are perfectly curated sets that all target different brow looks and preferences! These are a permanent addition to their range but, of course, it’s coming just in time for Christmas and I really think these would be a great gift.
If you’d like to read more of my thoughts on some individual products from the brand, then check out Full Brow on my blog but – otherwise – I’m going to jump right into talking about these kits!

The kbeauty industry is massive and it seems like every day that a new innovation in skincare is being launched, so it can be really hard to keep up. The great thing is that there are experts out there and they have put their time and effort into curating only the best of the best for you. The relatively new online store AKOCO has just launched with their boxed sets and – seriously – they are so well done. At this point in time, they have also released a number of different sets to target different skin concerns but the original is the Flawless Set.
To celebrate their launch, they sent me their Flawless Set and you would have seen me posting about this on Instagram – I just love the products that they’ve included in here. I only just noticed that I hadn’t written up an unboxing though (and this post is a good three months late for which I am so sorry). I was originally holding out to try everything first but realised that that’s going to take much too long so I’ll be sharing with you this anyway!
Although the Flawless Set is now out of stock, they do have their new Flawless Flaw-less set in stock (which targets acne prone skin) or, of course, you can always shop their products individually.
This is going to be a quick one, but I really wanted to talk about the new Urban Decay release – in particular, the Heavy Metal Glitter Gels. I had previously tested this out at Meccaland (on my face) and also recently got a sample pot to test it out on my eyes and the formula of this has honestly exceeded all expectations that I have of a glitter gel!
When I recently went to Meccaland though (the beauty festival hosted by Mecca here in Australia), I finally had the excuse to smear this all over my cheekbones! I fell so in love with it that I just had to then try it on my eyes and I have to say that this formula is a step above all typical 90s glitter gels – seriously.
MAC Cosmetics has a talent for consistently killing me with every limited edition release – and their recent collaboration with Disney for the new Aladdin movie is no different! This post is actually a bit late because I’ve been so busy lately and not had time to write as often, but that’s given me the chance to really test out these products and gather my thoughts about it.
For this release, I was really lucky to have been invited to the pre-release event (which is why you would have seen me talk about these before they actually launched in Australia) – aside from testing out and playing with the products, we also got to watch a demonstration from their make up artist, which has really given me some good insight into the vision for this Aladdin collection.
This is a limited edition collection that was released one week ahead of the Aladdin movie (which came to cinemas May 23 and is so good, by the way). This collection is centred around Princess Jasmine and “features smoky metallic and desert shades that reflect Jasmine’s strong-willed beauty,” as well as some beautiful Agrabah inspired packaging.
Mac Cosmetics gifted me with the eyeshadow palette and one of the lip glasses to try out – which is actually good because it’s been a long time since I used a pressed shadow from their brand, and I have never used their lip glasses before either. Trying them out was definitely a whole new world for me (haha – okay, I’ll stop).
Acne and break outs aren’t an issue for everyone (those lucky ducks) but I have personally never met someone who would say no to clear skin. I used to get quite a handful of pimples around high school time but never had acne or problem skin, so to speak. However, my skin type has been changing a lot lately, possibly due to aging as well as a very hectic lifestyle – so I have been trying out a bunch of different anti-acne products.
Some have worked really well for me, some not at all and others were too strong.
It was at this time that Neogen released their new A-Clear Soothing Line and I couldn’t have been more excited to try it out. Their products have been really good for my skin and I had very high expectations for these new releases. Here, I have almost their full A-Clear Soothing collection:
I am missing their A-Clear Aid Soothing Spot Patch, but I will likely purchase them myself soon – once I run out of the ones I am currently working through. For what I do have, I haven’t managed to try out everything extensively yet but will be giving you a good overview of their new releases, as well as giving you my personal thoughts and impressions when I can!
