Review: Pearly Night Inklasting Pink Cushion (Peripera)

Peripera Pearly Night Ink Lasting Pink Cushion Kbeauty Review

I bought this product with my own money from the official store. However, this post also contains affiliate links to StyleKorean as an alternative shopping recommendation. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

Holiday season means limited edition releases and, of course, some super pretty packaging to draw us all in. For this year, one of the stand out releases from Peripera is definitely their Inklasting Cushion! I grabbed this while I was in Korea and I was lucky enough that it was also on a special promotion, so I got a bit of a discount on it. The store assistant tried it out on my skin and I got shade 2 – I was originally looking for number 1 (which was sadly sold out in-store) but this product actually ended up being a decent colour on me and I think that the lighter one might have made me look a little ghostly. For reference, I typically use a shade 21 in Korean cosmetics.

Personally, I’m a massive fan of the Peripera lip products but their base products have been a hit or miss for me – some are pretty good, and others I find a bit lacking. However, because of the prettiness of this cushion case, I had to give it a shot. This product comes in two styles – the pink and the lavender.

To be honest, I’m not completely sure about the difference between them but I assume that it’s the same as the standard version – the Pink Cushion gives you a high coverage, smooth, brightened finish while the Lavender Cushion is more about giving a non-cakey, dewy glow that has buildable coverage. I actually picked the pink cushion more because of aesthetic than preferences (because the lavender one might have been more suitable for me) but I don’t mind so much!

If you’re interested, the original version also has a Mint Cushion that has a more powdery finish and is targeted towards people with oily or acne prone skin.

Anyway, let’s move onto this review because I’m so keen to show this case!

Review: Milk Moist Pact – Pink (Peripera)

StyleKorean Peripera Milk Cushion Pink Kbeauty Review

To be honest, I’ve been putting off writing thing review for maybe a week now. Even though I had formed my opinion on the foundation pact, I wanted to badly to like this that I gave it chance after chance but, unfortunately, this product just isn’t suited for me right this moment. I’m sure that other people will like it though so, rather than just saying “I don’t like it”, I’ll be giving you some more details opinions and observations below so you can make your own judgement on whether this is the correct formula for you.

So I originally wanted to try out this product for two reasons: first, it reminded me a lot of my LUNA essence water pact, which is up there as one of my favourites of all time and, secondly, I’ve always had a great experience with CLIO and Peripera products so I expected this to be just as wonderful. Instead, I was pretty disappointed.

Read on for my review! This product was sent to me by StyleKorean and, if this suits your needs, you can definitely buy it off their site. Otherwise, they have a great range of other cushions and foundations too! I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These cost you no money to use but go towards supporting Oh My Stellar.

Review: Peri’s Ink Drop BB Cream (Peripera)

Peripera Clio Peri's Ink Pure Ivory KollectionK Kbeauty Review

Please note that this post uses affiliate links, but I have not been paid to write this post. Any money made from affiliate links is invested back into the maintenance and updating content for this blog.

I am a massive fan of Clio, as people are well aware, and one of their other brands is Peripera. Although I am not a hundred percent certain whether Peripera is a sub-brand or similar, I do know that they both have the same strengths in staying power and pigmentation. I’ve been obsessed with the Peri’s Ink lip tints since trying them over in Korea so I was super excited when they actually came out with a Peri’s Ink Drop BB Cream!

This product comes in the very familiar Peri’s Ink packaging, though slightly altered for the new product, and contains SPF30 PA++. It’s a little bit less than what I would usually use but, since I’ve now developed the good habit of using sunscreen, I can look past that.

If you’re interested in getting this product, or some others, check out KollectionK. They were so nice to send me a couple of products to review and I have good thoughts towards their service as well – clean shopping cart, easy to search products and a useful wishlist function. Since my first review, they have also launched a part of their website called Koncierge – a personal shopping service, for when you’re looking for products that you can’t find on their website (or elsewhere).

Review: KollectionK

KollectionK Kbeauty Review

Please note that this post uses affiliate links, but I have not been paid to write this post. Any money made from affiliate links is invested back into the maintenance and updating content for this blog.

To be honest, I had sincerely thought that this post was already made! Only, I just realised that the photos were sitting in my drafts and I’ve been testing these products and thinking up the review before even doing the haul post. Aren’t I silly? Anyway, today is just one of those days – it’s rainy here in Sydney, work is rather slow and not very much is happening. As a pick me up, I figured that it would be best to do this post and look at all these lovely things that KollectionK had sent me to review! Most of these are actually things that I chose myself so I’ll talk about why I was interested in them too.

KollectionK Kbeauty Haul Review

If you’re interested in checking out KollectionK, click the link above. Although their prices are a little higher than the other stores I’ve visited, they also have one of the best designed and most user friendly stores that I have seen for kbeauty.

While I was shopping on their site, I liked to go through everything and make a wish list, which I would then go through again. If there are some items on your wishlist that are out of stock, then don’t worry about that either! KollectionK restocks very often and will even send you an email to let you know. Overall, I really love their website and think their service is good too!

Let’s move onto what I recieved!

Review: BUNNY 3COLOR BLUE (Klenspop)

Bunny 3color blue Klenspop Kbeauty Lens Review

Do you guys wear coloured contacts every day? I personally love the look of them – I like the widening effect, I like that I can choose to have a more eye-catching colour or choose to go more demure with something subtler. However, I really can’t wear them every day because I work weekdays in an office where I am staring at the computer all day. I also have a habit of falling sleep on public transport, so it isn’t exactly great for my eyes.

When I do go out though, I often wear coloured lenses. Recently, I received my first review package from Klenspop which had a really pretty pair of gray contacts (that really stand out). This time, I recieved another two pairs from them but I will be talking about one of the first – the BUNNY 3COLOR lenses in Blue! These had a subtle effect on my eyes which would be really suited for every day wear. Compared to the previous ELLEN lenses, I think these are more suited for daytime wear. They look more striking in direct, bright light (as you will see in the below images) but, from a distance, there is a subtle enhancement to my eyes. Please keep in mind that my natural eye colour is a very dark brown – we used to call it black in elementary school – so this may look brighter even on other brown eyes.

If you are interested in these lenses or would like to see what else Klenspop has to offer, just click the links! This is not as affiliate link (and 99% of my links aren’t) but there is a code you can use to get 10% off – and who doesn’t love that: R9LAF9SP
