Review: Wonder Pore Balancing Cream (Etude House)

Beautynetkorea Kbeauty Review Wonderpore Cream Etude House

When people ask you the name the pretty, cutest Korean beauty brand, the first brand that comes to mind is usually Etude House. This super cute brand, well known for their princess-like packaging and undeniable appreciation for all things baby coloured and sweet, is usually targeted towards a younger audience – teenagers and those who are just dipping their feet into the world of beauty. Not to be stopped though, Etude House has somewhat of a cult following even with the young but mature crowd (such as myself), especially because their affordable price point and attentive design also comes with, for lack of a better phrase, pretty darn good quality.

This product that I am about to very happily review was sent to me by Beautynetkorea, and is a pore minimising face cream. This product claims to balance out oil and sebum in order to shrink pores and smooth out your skin. The thing to keep in mind when using these products is that pore size is very much genetic and there is no natural way to rid your skin of pores – they are just as necessary a body part as your arms and legs! However, when these pores are clogged or with the secretion of sebum, it can give the appearance of bigger pores.

Review: One Shot Sherbet Cleanser (Etude)

Beautynetkorea Kbeauty Review Etude House Olemong Sherbet Cleanser

Everyone has been obsessed with double cleansing and, admittedly, I’m pretty late on the bandwagon but I’m here now! Today, I’ll be reviewing a product that was very kindly sent me to be Beautynetkorea, who were the ones who actually suggested this to me. This is the O-Le-Mong sherbet cleanser by Etude House, which is scented with three different fruits – orange, lemon and grapefruit! The packaging is pretty cute, in my opinion, though the bright yellow a little different from Etude House’ usual.

The first time that this product was sent to me, the product had unfortunately leaked and ruined the beauty of the packaging, s oBeautynetkorea were sweet enough to send me another one (and even extra bubble wrapped it to make sure it wouldn’t happen again). If you’re interested in checking out this product – or all the other things they carry – click on the links. Otherwise, onto the review!

Review: BUNNY 3COLOR BLUE (Klenspop)

Bunny 3color blue Klenspop Kbeauty Lens Review

Do you guys wear coloured contacts every day? I personally love the look of them – I like the widening effect, I like that I can choose to have a more eye-catching colour or choose to go more demure with something subtler. However, I really can’t wear them every day because I work weekdays in an office where I am staring at the computer all day. I also have a habit of falling sleep on public transport, so it isn’t exactly great for my eyes.

When I do go out though, I often wear coloured lenses. Recently, I received my first review package from Klenspop which had a really pretty pair of gray contacts (that really stand out). This time, I recieved another two pairs from them but I will be talking about one of the first – the BUNNY 3COLOR lenses in Blue! These had a subtle effect on my eyes which would be really suited for every day wear. Compared to the previous ELLEN lenses, I think these are more suited for daytime wear. They look more striking in direct, bright light (as you will see in the below images) but, from a distance, there is a subtle enhancement to my eyes. Please keep in mind that my natural eye colour is a very dark brown – we used to call it black in elementary school – so this may look brighter even on other brown eyes.

If you are interested in these lenses or would like to see what else Klenspop has to offer, just click the links! This is not as affiliate link (and 99% of my links aren’t) but there is a code you can use to get 10% off – and who doesn’t love that: R9LAF9SP

Review: Beautynetkorea

Beautynetkorea Kbeauty Review Lioele Dollish BB Cream

This post has actually taken me forever to write. A lot of posts the past two weeks have felt like they’re taking a really long time, but I guess that I’m just spending more time testing these products properly – as well as spending more time at the gym and really taking care of myself. Either way, I get so excited when ever I receive packages (whether it’s something I bought or samples I’ve been sent to review) that it’s like Christmas came early! Today, I’m going to be doing a bit of a haul post on the package that Beautynetkorea sent me, full of fun things to review and most (if not all) of which are completely new to me. Some of these they had chosen for me and others I had asked if they could send as I had been looking forward to trying them.

Overall, I had a good experience with Beautynetkorea and I think they have very helpful and fast customer service. The first package they had sent me was damaged in transit (one item was damaged in storage I think and other had leaked) so I contacted them immediately with photos. I was very surprised when they replied to me really quickly, within twelve hours even though the original email was sent in the middle of the night. They offered to resend the package, which they did, with a few new products.

I’ll talk more about this at the end of the review though. For now, here’s what I got!

Review: Sugar Tint Balm (Etude House)

Etude House Sugar Tint Balm Makeup Cosmetics Kbeauty Review RoseRoseShop

I have been on a hunt lately for a dense, pigmented lip balm. As I mentioned in my haul video (and as I seem to mention all the time lately), my skin has been extremely dry from the weather and my lips are no different. Chapped lips don’t look very nice and are hard to apply lip colour on but, worst of all, they seriously hurt! Cracking lips and dry skin are the bane of my existence in this strange Australian weather.

When I first saw the Sugar Tint Balm on RoseRoseShop, I knew that I had to try them. The real difficulty though, was choosing which ones. This product comes in a range of eight colours, four of which are available on the website (at the time of writing) so I ended up going with two – a darker, berry pink (#07 Grape Jam) and a light peach shade (#05 Pink Macaroon).
