Review: Beach Muse Multi Eye Colour Palette (3CE)

StyleKorean 3CE Beach Muse Eye Palette Kbeauty Review

Eyeshadow palettes are a personal weakness of mine and, when it comes to kbeauty make up, I really can’t pass up on 3CE! Created by the fashion brand Stylenanda, 3CE is especially well known for their colour cosmetics – their style is quite experimental so they often have very glittery or bright formulas which are harder to find in other brands. I’ve been a fan of their eyeshadows ever since I discovered their One Colour Eyeshadows, where they have pretty much the best matte orange that I have ever found in Korea, so I have a lot of confidence in their formulas.

The main criticism that I’ve had in the past has been the price point – however, this is much improved! The Beach Muse Multi Eye Colour Palette (which I will be reviewing today) is selling at StyleKorean for USD$31.90 (discounted from USD$45.60). It’s still more expensive than other Korean roadshop brands but, with a great formula, solid colour scheme and a strong brand image, I think that the premium price point makes sense.

If you want to get your hands on this palette, or anything else from 3CE really, pop on over to StyleKorean! But before all of that, lets get into this review.

Review: Strobing Skin Palette (3CE)

3CE Stylenanda Kbeauty Review Strobing Skin Palette

Following up from my last review of a foundation from the Easy Touch-Up Base Make-Up Edition, I also tested out the Strobing Skin Palette from this release. I have always loved 3CE for their colour cosmetics products and actually have one of their baked highlighters (which I used to love but don’t reach for much anymore as it’s too ‘natural’ for my current style), so I wanted to give this one a try too.

This is a three pan ‘strobing’ palette which contains three highlighters (though one is more like a hybrid highlighting blush). It is all about achieving a flawless base with minimal effort – so this product is definitely intended to be easy and quick to use.

This is currently selling on the StyleKorean website for USD$31.90 – which is a bit expensive for a k-beauty brand but isn’t too bad when compared with other high end Western brands (because 3CE is more of a boutique brand than road shop, in my opinion). Pop on their website if you’re keen to pick up the Strobing Skin Palette as I’m not sure if this is a permanent item.

Before you do that you, let’s get into this review!

Review: Layer Covering Stick Foundation (3CE)

3CE Stylenanda Kbeauty Review Layer Covering Stick Foundation Pink Ivory

It’s been a while since I tried something new from 3CE but they’re one of my favourite kbeauty cosmetic brands (I’ve tried skincare from them too but, personally, I would stick to their makeup). They have been releasing a lot of colour based collections lately – most likely because their Mood Recipe line was so popular – and I’ve been loving the development of their packaging too.

When I was searching up some of their new products on StyleKorean, I saw that there was a new collection – the Easy Touch-Up Base Make-Up Edition, which is centred around easy-to-use formulas that work together to create a flawless base in the simplest ways. All of the packaging uses nude and blush shades and the range consists of foundation, concealer and two cheek palettes (contour and highlight).

Once again, this 3CE review will be split into two but, first off, I’ll be reviewing the Layer Covering Stick Foundation. As per the name, this is a stick foundation with a solid, balm type formula and a buffer brush on the other end. I personally really like this type of product, mostly because it’s so easy and quick to use, but there are many that don’t suit my skin type. In fact, even some raved about, top-selling stick foundations have not worked for me but instead, I found that kbeauty formulas work a lot better.

This is currently selling on StyleKorean for USD$17.60 (50% off from the full price of USD$35.20) so definitely jump on quick if you want to pick this up. Before that though, let’s get right into this review!

Review: White Milk Lotion (3CE)

3CE white milk lotion stylekorean kbeauty review

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

Whitening creams, or tone up creams if you’re after the proper product name, are a pretty popular item in kbeauty. Not to be confused with bleaching or skin lightening products, which are highly dangerous and should be avoided, tone up creams generally have a more cosmetic effect. Depending on the exact product, they may have skin recovery, SPF or whitening (reducing pigmentation) benefits. The product generally also has a white colour to it so, when applied, will give the skin an immediately brightened effect. This is especially well suited for people who are naturally quite pale but have some unevenness in skin tone. Of course, being a cosmetic whitening product, it does come with some controversy but I’m not here to discuss that.

In the past, I have used the 3CE White Milk Cream, which I liked at the time. I’ve been using the left over (which is now expired) mixed in with a lotion on the rest of my body so I haven’t tried any new whitening cream on my face for quite a while. When I found out that the 3CE white milk range had been expanded though, I was interested. Of course, the fact that this lotion is so insanely excessively packaged definitely helped!

They now carry a handful of skincare products under the White Milk collection, as well as a White Milk Lotion – which I assumed would be a similar tone up cream to the original, but in a lighter formula. I wasn’t exactly right, but I wasn’t wrong either. I received this product to review from StyleKorean and, while it is currently out of stock, they still carrying a range of the White Milk products (like my favourite cushion) and also the similar White Milquidro range.

So, if you’re keen to read more about this product (and see this ridiculous packaging), read on!

Review: Back to Baby Mask – Nourishing Special (3CE)

3CE Back to Baby Mask Nourishing Special Kbeauty Review StyleKorean

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

I had my eye on these sheet masks since they first came out, because I just love the packaging, but it’s taken me quite a while to actually get my hands on them. These are the 3CE Back to Baby Mask (in the Nourishing Special version), which come in a box set of three. They’re currently on sale at StyleKorean for USD$11.70, which is a great price because they usually sell for USD$19.50 which is pretty expensive but makes sense since this isn’t just a traditional sheet mask.

I’m a fan of the 3CE brand but, generally, have been more of a fan of their colour cosmetics – some of their base make up leaves a little to be desired, and they have only released limited skincare products. In addition to their white milk collection (which I liked the cream from but don’t really use anything else), they have now expanded on their Back to Baby line with these sheet masks!

I received these to review from StyleKorean and I was planning on waiting for a while longer, since I had some skin allergies last week, but I tried this mask on yesterday and my skin is feeling instantly better! So, click through to read my full review and if you want to check out the product, follow this link to the Baby to Baby Mask product page.
