When it comes to k-beauty make up, I can be picky – so I’m super loyal to brands I love. I’ve been obsessed with Romand (stylised as Rom&nd) for the past few years: they have gorgeous packaging, top notch formulations and some of the best colour selections, so I’m always recommending them! Today, I’ll be sharing with you a special selection from their core range – everything you need for an everyday, Korean make up inspired look.

W Cosmetics Canmake New Releases Feature

This product was sent to me for review purposes.

If you’re Australian and a fan of Japanese Beauty, then you would be all too familiar with how difficult it is to get these products without going through personal shoppers, foreign websites and making to make the trip to Japan yourself! Thankfully though, a lot of these wishes were answered with W Cosmetics. I’ve worked with them a few times already and, whilst they have Korean products too, I’m always especially impressed with their J-beauty product range.

They recently sent over a selection of new releases from Canmake which I’ve posted about on Instagram, but I couldn’t help but make this post as well – just in case there’s someone out there who also have no idea where to buy these! Read on to see what I got, as well as links to buy them straight from W Cosmetics. They have stores in Australia and also free shipping for orders over AUD$99.

New Release: Lunar Luck Collection (MAC Cosmetics)

MAC Cosmetics Lunar Luck Collection - Chinese New Year 2022 Limited Edition

I have to say – MAC Cosmetics is always killing it when it comes to limited edition releases. Since I always love their formulas to begin with, I always get so excited when something new drops: whether it’s because of the pretty packaging or exclusive shades. This year’s Lunar New Year collection didn’t disappoint at all! The Lunar Luck Collection featured a range of lip, cheek and eye products in new shades and incredible, Year of the Tiger inspired packaging.

Although it’s a bit late now, I wanted to show the pieces that I got from this collection. Most of these are still available on the MAC Cosmetics website but only while stocks last, so jump on quick if you still want to pick them up!

Review: Winter Checkered Special Pouch Kit (Etude House)

Etude House Winter Checkered Special Pouch Kit - StyleKorean K-Beauty Review

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

I love collecting limited edition releases, especially when it’s makeup! This is probably where the majority of my money goes – I’m just super weak for cute packaging and fun concepts. For Christmas, Etude House had released their Winter Checkered Special Pouch Kit. It features an exclusive eyeshadow quad, packaged with a velvet drawstring pouch and a pretty box. This is essentially a gift that doesn’t need wrapping at all!

Although this review is coming a little late (it is February after all), this is still available on StyleKorean for USD$21 – on sale from USD$30. I’m actually quite impressed with the formula so, if you’re looking for a super wearable eyeshadow quad, this is going to be a fun gift to yourself.

Now, let’s get into this review!

Review: All Take Mood Cheek Palette in Nude in Mood (Peripera)

Peripera All Take Mood Cheek Palette in Nude is Mood Kbeauty Palette

This product was sent to me for review purposes. Please note that affiliate links are used.

For me, the past year has been all about casual, easy-to-wear make up looks – perhaps it’s because I spent most of the last two years wearing a mask, or maybe because I was in lockdown for months. The perk of more ‘natural’ make up looks is that they’re a lot lower maintenance and take less time to put together.

The All Take Mood Cheek Palette from Peripera is great for these natural make up looks. There are three variations in total, all containing three shades, but the one I’ll be reviewing the Nude in Mood. This one is quite light and sheer, so would be great for people with a fairer skin tone.

All of the variations are available on StyleKorean for USD$16 (on sale from USD$20), so pop over if you’d like to find out more! In the meantime, let’s jump into this review!
