Xmas Shopping Guide 2020 - Header

Last updated 2 November 2020

It’s that time of the year again – holiday releases are coming. I’ve been keeping an eye on some of these launches and, while some brands have slacked off a little in 2020 (understandable given how the pandemic has impacted everything), there are still a lot of great ones! From celebratory eyeshadow palettes to brilliant skincare sets – there’s so much to choose from.

It would be exhaustive to include absolutely everything, so this article mostly features things that I’m personally interested in trying or think would be a great gift option. Most, if not all, of these will be beauty related and available either in Australian stockists or online – all information which you will find here, of course.

Please note that this list is also being updated as new announcements are made so let me know if there’s a brand or release you think I should add in!

Now let’s start shopping!

Review: Soft Lip Lacquer (3CE)

StyleKorean Stylenanda 3CE Soft Lip Lacquer Midnight Bottle Perk Up Kbeauty Review

This product was sent to me by StyleKorean for review purposes. I was not paid for this post but please note that affiliate links are used on my blog. These go towards supporting Oh My Stellar and future content.

When I think of lip lacquers, I usually think of opaque glosses – though I’m not even sure if it’s correct. However, these from 3CE were really so different to what I expected; but in a good way. In fact, they are exactly everything I wanted the Velvet Lip Tints to be and I’m a big fan of these!

This review is on the 3CE Soft Lip Lacquer that released a while ago. I eyed them for a while but mostly wrote them off because I thought they would be similar to the velvets – which are nice but too soft in pigment for my own preference. However, when I was looking through the StyleKorean website, I decided that I did want to give these a go. They sent me two shades in this – Perk Up and Midnight Bottle; two of the darker shades in the range. I generally gravitate towards these colours because I’m not a fan of how most nudes or pinks look on me.

These are currently selling for USD$11.70 on StyleKorean (on sale from the full price of USD19.50) which is a pretty decent price – on par with the Velvet Lip Tint, and cheaper than the normal lip sticks. If you like soft looks, then the Velvet is the formula for you but if you are like me and you prefer your lip make up to be bolder and matter – then this is going to be perfect!
